Thanks for the beautiful update. Loved reading it -- in fact, I can't have enough of the story and ended up re-reading the previous parts all over again!
This is such a tender story of loss, longing, sadness, ... hopefully ending in healing of old wounds, togetherness, joy and love.
I am so taken in by this story that my mind has already raced ahead to a time when the three of them will be together and the lovely bonding, the teasing, laughter and pranks that Geet, Maan and Suta will share. I can already imagine, mother and daughter ganging up against impatient dad and at other times, dad and Suta mercilessly teasing mama Geet for her innocent small town ways !
Mr. Sharma's character and dialogue was brilliantly sketched. Truly inspired in its sly humor! I couldn't stop laughing. For serious procrastinators like me, the following take on Kabir's doha is far more appealing "Aaj Karein so Kaal Karein; Kaal Karein so Parason; Itni Jaldi Hai Kyoun Pyaare; Jab Rahenaa Hai Barson!".
As for Maan and Suta's relationship, lots of ground to be covered but Maan really needs to reign in his anger and impatience. Suta is a smart girl -- she is going to take advantage of his anger to rile him further. Well Mama Geet will be entering soon and I am looking forward to seeing her play that pivotal bridge to her long lost child and Maan.
Now that your exams are over, I hope we can look forward to more frequent updates otherwise I might end up having to re-read the current parts over and over again.
