Maan got shock to see them in such condition like weather becomes after heavy storm. Though they were smiling but it was not filled with joy but a try to hide their adversity.

"Dadima.. Geet.. What happened?' He rushed to them

"Nothing Beta, we were just having our mother-daughter talks and you well know how na, how we are! I was telling Geet about our family and became emotional' she said wiping her tears.

Her excuse convinced Maan. He nodded in belief.

Dadi- Come& sit Beta!'

Maan came and sat beside Geet and intentionally kept hand closer to hers. Neither Geet notice nor Dadi and they started to have their family talk when suddenly Geet felt his hand over hers. She looked his hand and escaped hers without letting SD see anything and gave a glare to him. Maan avoided and continued his talk when again he touched her hand and before she could remove, he held it tight. Due to blanket Dadi couldn't see their little romance where as Geet was feeling so much embarrass. She tried to make herself free but he was not letting her do it. She made face, gave pleading look but Maan did not melt but he was having fun though!

"What happened Geet?' SD asked looking her being uncomfortable.

"Nothing Dadima' she glared Maan on which he smirked.

SD was lost in her talk and here Maan held her hand as tight as it was so tough for her to sit there before Dadi without letting her not to know. She twisted hand tried to get it out but failed and finally she pinched him tight with other hand, Maan flinched all of sudden.

"Ahh!!' he started shaking hand in pain.

"What happened Maan!!' Geet asked before SD could with very innocent expression. Maan glared her toughly.

"Maan kya hua?' SD was confused.

"Chiti(ant) Dadima. One ant was there I guess'

"What!!' Geet suddenly gasped then composed.

"I mean 'Kya' ..' She spoke this "Kya word'' super softly..

" Chiti!!.. But Maan how could this little thing come here?'

"Haan Maan, how can ants be here? '

"Donno dadi, but it bit me!'

Dadi shook head seeing both Maan & Geet glaring each other, giving threaten with eyes. She smiled understanding everything.

"Um Geet Beta, I think that little ant should take rest now, thak gayi hogi na bechaari''

Both Maan and Geet stared her confused.

"I mean Beta that it's not that easy task na, to bite Maan Singh Khurana's rock-hard skin! Poor creature should take rest now!'

Sensing the fun behind SD eyes Geet trembled.

"J-ji Dadi I should take rest' I mean ant should take rest.. Mera matlab hai ki.. I should leave now.. good night Dadima!' she spoke and left room without having dare to look her back.

Maan also stood up to go "Good night Dadi'

"Good night Maan'' she gestured him to come near and kissed his forehead "Always be happy like this Beta' she blessed. Maan smiled and nodded and left.

As he was going upstairs his eyes fell on kitchen lights which were on. He knew this time no one could be inside, walked there to switch it off when saw Geet! she was making something.

"What are you doing?'

She drew back all of sudden when Maan peeped from back.

"Maan you made me scared!' she glared.

"Okay, but what are you making at this time!'

"wo, I was feeling like to have tea, so thought to make a cup' said while pouring tea in cup. But before she could have first sip Maan snatched it to irritate her more and drunk himself and started jumping up and down due to extreme hotness. His face becomes red and hands were shaking like a fish shake without water.

Maan!! Are you out of your mind!!' Geet shouted and held his hand, tried to make him calm. "Idhar aaiye, sit here!!'

After while he felt little calm. "Are you okay?' He nodded no. Geet became pale.

Seeing her worried Maan smiled. "I will be Geet when you will give medicine for it''. He said huskily.

Geet just wanted to make him relax; she came closer and closed her eyes was ready to enjoy to relish his taste but tasted some sweet warm liquid instead. Fluttering her eyes she opened it and found him to enjoying her tea!

"It tasted too good Geet you should try once!'

She felt embrace but showed that she was so much angry and turned back, however wanted to hid her blushing face. Maan came from back and brought cup near to her mouth gestured to have it. She had one sip and smiled. Maan kissed her red cheek and had another sip and then kept doing it until they finish this one cup. Maan carried her to her room and kissed good night on forehead then left to his room.

In morning on breakfast table SD told Maan to go for shopping. Geet face brightens up hearing this but Maan denied.

"Dadi you know well I don't like this shopping thing. Please you can go with her '

But after SD forceful insistence he couldn't stay back and had to go with Geet. He came back from getting ready while dialing some number in cell which was not connecting, which was bothering him.

"Dadima, did you talk to Dev? I mean it's been days that I couldn't talk to him. Even I have no idea which project he is working on!!'

SD and Geet glowing face became paler within a second. They glanced each other. Geet was so much worried but SD rose to control this situation.

"Why are you worrying so much Maan just last evening I had talk with him. Actually he is not on any business tour but has gone for his friend wedding'

"What!!! Dadi but you had said earlier he is out on business tour!!!'

"Haan Maan Beta, actually he wanted to go for wedding but was scaring for your reaction. You always used to shout him forgot taking office responsibility so he didn't dare to ask you. He also took promise from me that I would not tell you anything till he comes back! I am sorry Beta but you were not in health of taking any tension about these small things so I didn't tell you. But don't worry, he will be back till your marriage'

While speaking the last line her throat chocked but managed not to show him. Maan was so angry hearing this but Geet walked to him and forcefully pulled him out going for shopping. She made such cute faces that he had to smile and forget everything within minutes.

In car Geet was so excited with this outing. She was making many plans to enjoy her time with him.

"Maan I want to go restaurant before shopping'

"What! Geet but you have just finished your breakfast'

"Ya but I feel like eating again, I'm hungry!' she made face and made mental plan to have lots of ice cream instead of any food. It had been many years that she hadn't had any ice cream during living in HP. Maan knew he couldn't win over her any demand, turned car toward their hotel and stopped on entrance. She was so happy to come here again and Maan could see this. She had started memorizing their memories of this place and that gave her goose bumps thoroughly.

Though Maan insisted to go in "Their Room' but Geet decided to sit in restaurant area and had her seat on couch while Maan went to give order and have a tour around. She was staring the interior when her eyes caught a face which she did recognize and that made her feel shiver in each and every veins.

She stood up in fear and started to search Maan. Her body was shaking and legs were tripping but she had to go to him. She asked to people around about Maan but could not get his whereabouts. She took a turn and started to run through hallway and then she felt that person presence at behind followed by his grieve voice.

"Geet!!!'

"Brij veerji..' her soul screamed and found her mouth had been covered with a cloth..
