Geet kept standing on door looked Dadi's getting dim figure, walking far. Ever could she able to tell Dadi everything, about Dev!' she thought. Unconsciously compassion grew in her heart for everyone, for Dadi, for Maan.
"Maan!!!' she remembered him, her heart started beat in apprehension "What would happen when Maan will come to know about it!!'' she became alarmed, got scared. That day will be the most dreadful day for everyone. ''This family, my family, my Maan will be left shattered and everything will be finished!!!'' her mind screamed in oppose when she got a pat on her shoulder. She drew back all of sudden and gasp came out.
"Geet!!'' .. " it's me'' Maan said when saw her totally unnerved and strained. "What happened!'' asked worriedly.
Geet composed herself, tried to show normal. "Um nothing,- just I- was thinking that Dadima will be alone in mansion. I was worrying for her' she hides her panic.
Maan smiled. 'Don't worry Geet don't take much tension hm! And by the way, you are forgetting something'
Geet looked him confused
"Dev is also there for her''
Geet felt disgust hearing his name from Maan but did not show. She nodded, did not want to talk further on this matter, she changed her mood at once..
"But what are you doing here Maan? Doctor said you for bed rest na so why did you move!!!''
Maan noticed her change of tone and behavior but mistook it worry for him and Dadi. Though it was true but in antonymous way which he could not know. He was happy to see her mind had been deflected.
"Then what would I do Geet. Doctor said me to rest but my rest had been stolen by you!!!''
"Mean?''
Maan took her face in his hands and made her see him, in his eyes "Mean Geet when you were not in rest how could I! You have stolen my every peace, every rest and now I can't be in peace when doesn't see you happy and smiling.
His words touched her heart and she touched his face with her hands, caressed it. "I'm sorry Maan I had forgot that you can't see my tears. But what I do, every time, unwillingly I give you sorrow but I swear I never wish it!! I'm bad Maan your Geet is so bad!!''
Her heart filled with remorse thinking it was she because of everything happened. If she would not have come in Maans life, nothing would have gone wrong but now everything had come on stake. Ripen emotions filled up to full in her heart and she now could not hold it back. She hides her face in his chest and shed tears silently.
Maan was stunned to see her. Everything was unknown and perplexed for him, first her to be found on road like that in mid night, alone. Then now suddenly her change of behavior, everything was unusual. He hugged her, took in his embrace, and caressed her back to make her calm. He had thousands of questions and wanted to have answer of every of them but doesn't know where to start, what to ask and his baffled mind whispered out its possessed word "Geet!!''
Geet bleary sense came back, she scolded herself mentally for what she was doing!
"What Geet haan !! See you made me cry Maan!!'' she made faces and spoke, concealing every previous emotions.
Maan looked her confused. "Me?''
"Aur nahi toh kon!! You don't take care of yourself knowing how much you need it. Maan, I am worried for you that only because of me you had to come HP in this condition. I feel bad! It makes my feel cry Maan, why don't you understand!''
He took her in hug and smiled.
"Hm! So this is the reason you said my Geet bad!! How dare you!''
Geet looked him. "But I am!'
"Shh!!'' he closed her mouth with his finger. "Don't say like this Geet. No one can be like you, just see once from my eyes you will know it. You are mine, my Geet, Maan ki Geet and my possession can never be bad.
"Sach!
He nodded and smiled. He wanted to develop this moment with their closeness, bent near to her but she stopped him.
"Maan, you are not well and this is hospital, did you forget?''
"So what!! '' .. And Geet I am completely fine!'
"Really Maan!! That's why doctor said you to take rest haan!! Ab chaliye go to your bed and sleep, its already got night'' she pulled him to bed and made to lay down.
"Geet.. Geet listen me I am fine''
"Chup!!''
Seeing her big eyes Maan silently laid down and Geet covered sheet over him. "Now close your eyes and sleep''
"No!'
"Why!!'
Because I can't sleep, I am not feeling like it I have to be awake with you'
"But Maan its already got night, you..
Suddenly he pulled her hand at once and she fell on him unexpectedly.
"Chup Geet how much you talk!'
Before she could move back or give any response his lips prison hers and locked her words inside. Geet got shivers with this unpredicted reward and submitted hers every bit of dispute over him. Their kiss was source of their love n worries for each other. It was passionate, it was deep and it was attempt to be withdrawn from all hardships of few hours. Maan slowly let her be settled next to him, keeping her captive in his intensity of love. He opened her plait and let hairs be free. His fingers caressed her opened hairs and made her steady down comfortably beside.
They parted. Geet knew, Maan would not let her move or go away from him. His hand was still holding hers. She kept head on his chest, gently that not to hurt his wounds, and slept, closing her eyes with having a satisfied smile on lips..
