Its completely new situation where Maan is behaving{in present} the way,Vicky should have behaved with Lasya after knowing the truth..Reactions has replaced each other here..

Vicky adores her mother,where as lack of communication and a "semi revelation" of the truth to Maan several years ago has created this much distance between them..

Second part of the update,completely awwed me...Your words and music selection always takes me to "their" world..

I was able to see his "little" finger holding the bandage at one end to prevent it from letting go with air.. I am so glad he did not let it go finally..

This has surpassed my favourite scene from "If it wasn't for night" where Maaneet's reflections had met in the picture..

ohhh...brat..you are truly a "magician" of "words and details"...

PS- Its me who should thank you for your consistent support..I wouldn't have updated parent if you had not bear my cribbing..lub you...🤗

Letting Go: The title itself was a start of symbolism for me. Its a double edged word... gives feelings of both exhilaration for having the hope of reliving & despair of the past events. All depending upon the view one looks at it from. 😊

The happiness & joy mingled with first rains is so infectious & lovely that while reading I'm bound to want to feel it all. Maan being so carefree & ready to willingly & whole heartedly embrace within him life's unpredicitiblity & small joys in the course of time that it contradicts to his personality now yet makes me wonder how painful a change it must have been for him. The whole process wounding him time & again. Good to see the person he earlier was. :) his bubbling happiness, excitement & enthusiasm makes me want to reach out to it & feel the same. Great description!! 👏

It is diificult from a neutral view to understand Maan of now, if known him from his earlier days. This Maan of present day then seems to be a harsh reality, whereas the young Maan appears to be untainted by life's realities & a faade too good to be true.

There's something more to it all. This revelation & confession of the past time appears to be hazy as shown by Maan's POV. I'm sure its a blinded view which might be consequences of earlier incidents in which Maan was made to perceive, leading him to be so judgemental by just one trigger point. This incident just seems to be the last nail to it all. A catalyst to a earlier suppressed emotion & thinking. Maan has put everything together in missed link fom, which has turned to be hazardous for each relation of his. As they so rightly say that half knowledge is dangerous than no knowledge, same applies for Maan here.

Vicky.. I really felt for him. Especially the line... about the similarities which his siblings share with his parents whereas he misses out on the similarities. There's so much there behind his ever smiling self & laghter that he tries & induces in each ones life. Showing that he makes life to be a very small entity in comaprison to his liveliness & attitude, with the jest he has towards life.

Maan's maturity of viewing this whole 'Blood relations not being above to relation formed out of love & care' was so good, but then his dealing with his mom on it without confiding with her just contrasts all the maturity. Though he successfully beacme a father for Vicky but in the bargain lost his mother.

The whole bandaid symbolism along with the music accompanying was so beautifully put... 👏 Bandaid here being a symbol of both vulnerability needing some external support & aid, while also at the same time a symbol of cure & healing.

Loved how he held onto this hope that has now entered his life & his unconcious need for care.

Waiting for more... 😊

For someone who has lost his family and found a mother in Lasya, I admit, this update made me feel for Vicky all the more. The relationship with Maan must be unique in a brotherly fatherly fashion.

It is always a matter of debate when the harsh facts of life should be disclosed to children and Maan clearly disagreed with Lasya on the time and way to tell Vicky about it. There is to me no doubt in my mind that he has this wrong. No mother would willfully want to hurt a child. Maybe this was something that was preset and she had to do it this way. The sense of kinship and the responsibility that he takes over at such a young age is awe inspiring. They say adversity teaches us strength and this has certainly been the case here.

The cycle scene was written so flawlessly. I can almost imagine him skidding the bike to a halt and walking in with muddy feet. Rubbing his sister's face with mud gives us an image of the Maan he was, carefree and naughty. But because I hate you I will tell you what you already know I will. I absolutely loved the bandaid scene... Standing so high above the grounds, looking at the unversity he dropped her at, telling himself he did not want her sympathy... yet saving that little bit of healing for himself... I dash you for bringing me to this depth of emotions that you can stir up with your words. Amazing, perfect. Can't say it replaces the shadow in the frame but it is on par. Now if I don't ever update.. you know why...

Sometimes it's that you can handle even if a great deal of sorrow hits you, but you can't take it when your loved one is in question. You cease to think rationally

Beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. Frankly speaking this is one chapter which I am NOT at all satisfied in the entire series of WOL.
