She was passing by the main street when a guy ran by her side n went away in a gallop while some people dressed in black suit followed him at the same pace ...geet stood thr thinking wht ws all that happened than she speed up to reach her home at the earliest when felt some one chasing her n she glanced back to see a guy looking like a goon running in her direction ..she was worried for the amount she was carrying in her purse it wasn't her money n she can't give it away jaspal uncel has shown so much of trust in her thinking she did wht came to her mind at first n ran from thr clutching her bag tight to her front ...she ran n ran till she could but he was way to faster n warned her stop ..
Ruk ja larki ...ruk jaa warna goli maar dunga ..
But she never stopped neither looked back at his gun pointing at her nn kept on running ...but stopped listening to the gun shot ...paralyzed for a second than turned back only to see maan lying down in the pool of blood ...
she stood thr not able to comprehend what exactly happened ..seeing him wince while trying to stand up the tears gathered in her eyes spilled n she ran towards him falling down just before his head could hit the ground she placed her hand beneath ...trembling with fear she asked all around to see for any help thr was non ..
Geet ( patting his face as he was going unconscious) : maan ..maan uttho pls uttho ...yeh ..(shaking with tears).. kya huya ..plss plss utho ..( looked around n screamed).. help ..plss somebody help ..(thr was another sound of gun sending shivers down her body n she hold him tight now only a whisper with fear barely audible came from her).. plss koi tou madad Karo ..maan plss utho ..
She was looking at him with tear in her eyes helpless ..tried to move him ..but he was too heavy for her futile self and he opened his blurred eyes n said in a weak voice depicting how much pain he was in ..
Maan : jao yahan se geet ..leave ..
Geet heard him with a relief suddenly anger overtaking it listening to his words ..
Geet ( determined) : pagal hugaye hu aap ..kahin nhi jaa rahi mien samjhe aap ..(wiping her tears).. aap yahin raho mien ..mien taxi laati hoon ..hum hospital jaayege ..plss aankhe mat band Karna ..
she carefully moved his head off her lap n maan too responded helping her ..n she moved to the main street to get a cab but it was late n thr was non ..she moved back to see him n saw him now in a side supported by a wall ..she went ahead n saw few men dressed in black having guns in thr hands approaching him .. worried n scared tht she was took a iron rod by the road side n ran towards him n stood in front ..
Geet (shaking) : dekho aage mat barna ..warna mien ..
Man in front came n said worried ..
Listen we r his guards n we need to get him to the hospital he has taken the bullet on his left shoulder so leave this for another time .. move now ..
Geet wasn't exactly convinced but she saw the BMW standing just behind them so she dropped the rod n helped them take maan supporting his head n sat with him in the car ..

They were in the hospital for the last 1 hour ..initially geet ever paid attention worried for maan but now she was feeling weird seeing the whole floor isolated ..n all the Guards now alert as if thr is some war situation ..n thr head as she assumed him to be was pacing left right left ...than came in front of her ..
She was sitting on the bench head bowed down praying chanting all the verses she ever learned ..when she felt somebody standing in front she opened her eyes n looked up ..
G : u need to go from here ..its not safe for u
Geet : u ve said this to me earlier n I ve given u my answer ..until doc says tht maan is out of danger I am not going anywhere .
G : listen u ..I allowed u here coz I ve seen u with MK on the old age home site (geet looked up shocked n embarrassed n they both looked away feeling awkward n he said after a pause in a low voice).. n coz he saved u ..I don't know what connection u both have but certainly he won't ever want u here in this ...so its better u leave ..we can take care of him ..
Geet : mien kahan nhi jaongi ..what ever it is ..
It was maan's chief security officer gaurav ..he has seen maan going to her cafe ..saving her from those goons ..surely he knew geet but never questioned maan abt anything so he don't know her ..n today the way he saved her ..its defo something ..
After good 4 hours it was finally over n geet ran toward the doc coming out of the theater n inquired ..
Geet : how is he doc ..Sab theek hai na ..?
Doc looked at her than at gaurav confused who is she n than answered him ..
Doc : this was a close call .. ek inch Bhi upar neeche hota n he would HV lost his battle ..safe for now but make sure he rests well this time ..at least a week of bed rest ..

The doc left n Gert thanked Almighty with all her heart ..gaurav went to other guards n geet entered the ICU ..just to meet him once ..

Lying with so many tubes attached ..she couldn't help those tears spilling ..standing by his side she cried silently n touched his hand lightly ..
Geet: plss jaldi se theek hu jao ..mien ...yeh ...kabhi mat dekhna meri shakal Bhi but plss ankhien kholo ..
Her tears wetted his hand n fingers twitched in pain ..making her close eyes snap open n she looked at him hopefully ..
Geet (v.slowly) : maan ..maan... aap theek hu ..??
Maan opened his eyes slightly ..his vision still blur ..but saw her n her tear stricken smiling face ..
Maan(a barely audible whisper he managed to speak with great difficulty) : tum yahan ..kya
Geet (understood his worry n said interrupting him) : mien aap ko aisi kaise chor kar jata sakti thi ..
Maan ( again going unconscious) : Leave gee...
Before geet could say anything doc came n checked him while gaurav dragged her out ..
G : hugayi aap ki tasalli ..sun Liya MK ne kya kahan ..abb Jaye yahan se ..plss ..driver neeche hai ..he'll drop u ..
Geet : nhi mien ..
G : ths isnt a movie and thr r many more like those goons out thr its not safe for u anymore to be without guard ..(be4 she could denay he said) neither it is for MK ..so plss..
It was already morning when she reached home ..only to have Jaspal uncle n pinky with a worried meets in thr ..meets n pinky hugged her the moment she entered ..
Meera : kahan chali gayi thi tu ..pata hai Sab kitne pareshaan hain ..

The tears spilled n meera came thr making her sit on the couch taking her bag offering her water ...n geet got the chance to think what she was about to confess ...she can't gaurav said its dangerious ..she can't share it ..n she lied ..
Geet : woh ..mere peeche chor thay tou mien bhaagte bhaagte buhat door puhanch gayi ..aur ..woh ..Han fir woh wapis aate aate der hugayi ...I m sorry ...
Jaspal : tou kyun maafi mang rai hai ..mujhe tujh se sorry kehna chahiye ..galti meri hai itni rakam tujhe inti raat ko dekar nai jaana chahiye tha ...maaf kardegi mujhe ..
Geet : humien kahan pata tha Aisa kuch huga uncle ..Jane dejeye .. ( handed over his money from her purse) ..
Meera : mien Amy ko call karke baata deti hoon ..he has been searching for u on Delhi streets for quite a few hours now .. usko bolti hoon ghar Jaye ..
After few minutes everyone left the 2 girls ..it was Friday so geet didn't have to go to the cafe n meera suggested to skip the college as well ..which geet took ..
Meera : mujhe samajh nai aata yeh Sab tere saath hi kyun huta hai ...geetu u r seriously turning into a magnet for troubles ..
Meera was roaming around collecting her things for college while after getting fresh was sitting on the same couch lost worried for maan relieving that incident all over again ..the sounds of gun shots still echoing in her ears n Meera placed her hand on her shoulder from back making her jump with fear ..
Meera : relax ..mien hoon yeh le hv something than go to rest a while ..I'll to Amy's place we r going together ...
But before that the bell rang n she moved to chk while geet wiped her milk n saw Amy entering in ..
Amy : jai hu madam ki ..yaar abb tu baata hi de aakhir chakar kya hai ..kal poori raat tujhe dhund raha tha pagal kaise Delhi city mien ..n u were just vanished ..plss abb se mujh par ek meherbani kar mbl le le ..aur apni location update karti raha kar plss ..
Meera : perfect solution ..geet u really should hv one with u ...

Amy n Meera smiled sitting on her either side ...hugging her

Geet pulled his cheeks smiling ..

Amy (waked her n she ran away) : Meera ki bachi Teri tou ..
Geet sat thr smiling at them ..when she saw a USB dropped on the floor bending down she grabbed it n put in the drawl ..
After the Tom n jerry fight Meera n Amy left to college n geet went to sleep ..
The whole day she kept thinking of him ..even went to see him but hospital staffs never let her ..infact the receptionist said he was nvr thr ..she returned disheartened ...only to see her college gang at her door steps ..

Rahul : kahan thi tum ..we all were just abt to leave ..
Geet : nhi woh mien ...
Raghu : we were so worried yaar ..jaspal uncle told us when we called asking for you ..(coming to hug her but rahul stopped him) ..

After getting sitted ...they all inquired about last night n she managed to lie only confusing rahul ..but he nvr said anything seeing her so down ..
Drishti : Chalo abb aaj ka celebration ..

Rahul : tumhari waja se abb celebration jaspal uncle ke cafe mien hugi ..

They left in 10 min ..while rahul n drishti conti having thr usual fight ..

The celebration of thr victory was full of masti Amy n Meera too joined them ..it was rahul n Amy's planning to cheer up geet but it doesn't seem to work ..she was as dull n lost as before ..n left to home ..Meera tried but of no good ..
she kept doing her assignments for next whole day ..worrying for maan ..debating if she should share it with Meera but than kya kya batati ..

While working in cafe ..she kept looking at his table at entrance ..hoping deep down tht somehow he would come ..as if some magic will happen n he will be here with her ..but day turned evening n than night ..it nvr happened ..
It was Sunday n although she wasn't in a mood to but had to go to the school for dance class ..
Hours kept passing by n finally it was last hour when sneha came running towards her but geet was lost thinking if maan was fine .. thr was no way she could get any info abt him ..

Before geet could say anything Nishaan came thr obviously down ..n geet saw him n stood up with sneha ..n went towards him ..

Instead of answering her he glared sneha ..knowing she spilled the beans ..
Nishaan : tere tummy mien kuch bachta hai ..motu ..
Sneha : haww ..mene kya Kara ..woh tou geet Mame sad thi tou mene kaha tou Bhi sad hai n than I had to say na ..
Nishaan : oh please I m sure tujhe tummy mien dard huraha huga na bina kisi se share kiye ..iss hi liye tune hi kaha ..

They were now in the back yard of the school n geet took out her lunch box ..
Geet : well I HV pasta with me for lunch ..n I know tum dono ka fav hai so I thought kyun na hum pasta party Karen ...what say ..?
Nishaan : waoo pasta ..apne banaya ..(he loves geet's hand made pasta n was literally Happy she brought tht).. aap ko pata hai mere dad Bhi aap ke jitna acha pasta nhi banate ..I just love yours ..
Sneha : aur tou mjhe motu keh raha tha ..paitu ..
Geet smiled seeing there fight ..somewhere lost in thr talks away from her worries ..don't know how but these 2 always manages to take her away from her materialistic world ..having thr pasta with lots of masti ..they finally packed thr bags to leave when Nishaan asked suddenly ..
Nishaan : geet aap sad kyun thay ...?
Geet (looked away putting her box in bag) : nhi yrr I m fine woh Sneha ko aise hi laga ..
Nishaan came n stood in front of her ..
Nishaan : dad kehte hain jab koi aap se nazar churaye means woh jhoot bol raha hai ..
Sneha (holding her hand) : bolo na Mame kya huya ...?
Geet (sighed n sat down) : OK sorry mien sad thi ..

Geet : woh mera ek friend hospital mien hai na tou iss liye ..

Sometimes the things tht look so complicated r so easy ..she did everything but to pray for him ..n how easily both these Angels solved her problems ..she smiled n kissed both of them ..

Geet smiled n than an idea strikes her n she asked them both to meet her tomorrow after school in a cafe ..they agreed n she went home with a new zeal ..surprising Meera with her lift up mood ..
Geet planned to celebrate nishaan's b,day in her cafe n prepared for his cake decor n gifts for him ...invited her gang n Amy ..although everyone initially laughed for her attachment with a toddler but the way her mood was since last 2 days a change was all they wanted so everyone helped n with a blast they welcomed Nishaan n Sneha tomorrow in the cafe ..n had a great party ..Nishaan was so happy so was Sneha ..n before going Nishaan hugged her tight thanking her ..
Nishaan : mene kabhi aise b,day celebrate nhi ki ..humesha dad mien mama mami hi hote hain ..thank u ..I loved it geet ..
Sneha : pata hai Subha se Hitler ka mood khraab tha ..

Amy left taking meera with him she were to stay at his place ..Geet smiled n conti her work as she had asked for half day ..due to the preparations for this party she couldn't but she planned to visit church today ..
(U all know she is an orphan so don't get confuse with her babaji talks n church scene ..she believes in both ..actually every religion) ..
N so she left to her church smiling happy but in b/w a van all white came n halted in front of her n a couple of goons pulled her in forcefully ..she screamed struggled but before the crowd around could do anything the car zoomed away ..n she was made unconscious ..
Goon 1 : chk her purse first ..we don't want any further mess ..
Goon 2 : kuch nai hai iss ke bag mien sir ji ..
Goon 3 : par USS ne phone par yahi kaha ke USB iss ke bag mien dala hai ..

Goon 1 : Karna kya hai ..hosh mien aane k baad yeh hi bolegi kahan hai USB ..sahab ne kaha hai kisi Bhi halat mien woh USB chahiye ..
Goon 4 : aise maal tou acha hai ..thori masti tou banti hai boss ..
Goon 1 : pehle kaam hujane de fir dekhte hain ..
Before they could reach anywhere a black BMW blocked thr way n maan stepped out with a gun in his hand loaded n fired the tires ..n they all stepped out with thr weapons ..
Maan had his full security team with him standing on his back ..
Maan : zindagi chor sakta hoon tum logoon ko ..larki ko chor do aur chale jao ...
Of course they didn't agreed n after a fired up fight maan managed to take her away with him ..to his farmhouse ..
Its been 3 hr n she wasn't gaining her conscious any soon ..maan was tensed ..sitting beside her remembering the blur images of hers when he 1st got his conscious ..it was indeed a strong chemical they used ..gaurav enteredin the room ..
Gaurav : goons have been taken care of ..(clearly maan wasn't interested n he kept staring at her).. USB wasn't thr ..we will HV to ask her .. (looked at him lost ..he sighed n kept a plate on the center table).. medicine ka time hugaya hai sir ..
Maan (still staring her) : leave ..
Gaurav knew he wasn't in a mood to argue so left while maan was still tensed seeing her unconscious ..remembering all tht happened when he was in hospital ..
FLASHBACK ..
gaurav : Vicky ran away with tht USB with him ..but when I shot him it wasn't thr with him ..checked his pockets all the paths he went from ..it was no where ..
Maan (fuming) : HV u lost it gaurav ..tum jaante hu kitni mushkil se minister ke against humien woh saare clue mile thay ..Sab USS USB mien tha ..n how could it be ..check it again we were following him since he left ur house n never stopped for long enough to hide it ...
G : no idea sir ..he was in contact with his partners n may be they met somewhere n he passed it ..
Maan (anger n frustration was visible on his face) : I can't believe this humare hi guards mien se ek minister ka aadmi tha n we nvr got to know ..ridiculous
G : Vicky ke baare mien pata chala tou yaqeen tou mjhe Bhi nhi aaya but jab usse khud mere ghar se USB churate dekha tou key Bhi kya sakte hain ..
Maan : gaurav tum jaante hu woh USB ek hi raasta hai jis se hum
Minister ka mou band rakh sakte hain warna KC ki repo aur Khuranas ki image Sab barbaad hujayegi ..
Gaurav : I'll try my best to bring it back sir ...unke 2 aadmi humari pass hain I'll make them confess whr the USB is... but u need to rest sir ..(he was abt to leave but turned back n said hesitantly) .. umm sir woh larki ...geet ..she was here in the morning asking for you ..
Maan (snapped iritatedly) : ussko iss Sab se door rakho gaurav ..galat time par galat jaga hona usski aadat hai ..
Gaurav (asked without thinking) : par aap ne usse kyun bachaya ..agar kuch hujata tou ..
Maan glared him making him realize he nvr has the right to question ...n they all moved to his farmhouse ..its been 3 days n maan was still in farmhouse restless knowing how fast the inquiry against KC was going ..minister talking rubbish about him n than the danger over his family ..finally Gaurav showed tensed n maan was fuming with the delay the whole matter was in ..
Gaurav : sir thr is an issue ..
Maan : WHR is the USB gaurav ..
G : its not with them ..the 2 men with us confessed whr it is ..
Maan (stood up) : great than let's go ..get it
G : thr is a problem ..
Maan : what ..?
G : woh USB Vicky ne ek larki ke bag mien daal di hai ..n woh larki .. woh sir ..
Maan : who is she ...??

Maan closed his eyes cursing under his breath n sighed
Maan : kyun har baar yeh larki mere raaste mien aati hai ..kyun geet ..
G : problem kuch aur hai sir ..
Maan (snapped) : abb iss se ziada kya hu sakta hai ..
G : that night thr were 4 men thr ..I shot Vicky 2 r here with us ..but one ran away ..n he recognize geet ..n they (paused guessing his boss's temper with the way he was turning red).. they ...they are ..
Maan (spat) : say it ..
G : they r now behind her ..abhi tak geet ke ghar tou nai Gaye but cafe ka pata chal gaya hai unko n at any given opportunity they will try to get tht USB ..
Humien uss se woh USB leni hugi ..
Maan (pushed his hand backwrd in his hair) : n u think uske baad geet Bach jayegi ..they will nvr believe her if she said she don't have it ...n u know this once geet unke kabze mien gayi tou woh uss se chorenge nhi ..
G : ziada time ...ziada time nhi lage gai unko geet tak puhanchne mien ..we should rush ..
Maan (sighed n said to himself) : mien yeh nhi chahta tha ..(looked at gaurav).. Sab ko bolo fully loaded huke cars nikalne ko ..
They left from thr all tensed when unaware to the approaching danger geet was partying hard ..n when the goons kidnapped her maan did saw her but couldn't do much in a crowded area so waited till they reached the deserted area ..

With geet's hand movement which by now was in his firm hold maan's trance broke n he looked at her sweating face as if having a nightmare ..she was mumbling something n maan carresed her face softly calling her ..
Maan .. geet utho ..geet r u listening ..
Geet .. leave me choro mujhe ..(tears spilled from her closed eyes n maan knew she was still in tht last moment before her unconsciousness).. plss jaane do mujhe ..
Maan couldn't do much but to call her n caress her face in an attempt to wake her up but she started struggling with him ..n sat up screaming snapping maan's hand away ..

She was in a mess her hairs spread face stricken with tears n eyes so full of fear ..maan for a second stood shocked seeing tht strong stubborn girl so vulnerable while she sat thr hugging her knees close to her chest in a protective manner shaking ..no wonder all the gun shot ..maan being in hospital than the kidnap everything took a toll on her at this moment ..n gaurav came barging in the room catching thr attentions n maan saw geet embrace herself more close scared n than she finally noticed him confusion filled her already teary eyes n maan stopped gaurav thr n he went away taking the guards tht were following him ..
Maan took slow steps towards her n sat beside her ..she looked so confused n scared ..n without thinking he found himself holding her arms tht were clutching her knees ..n she looked down letting another tear trail flow down ..
Sab theek hai geet ..
She looked up directly in his eyes n he blinked assuring her softly ..
Main hoon yahan ..kuch nai huga ...
Instantly She hugged him tight as if trying to hide herself making jolt with surprise ..but before he could comprehend anything she broke into loud sobs n cried ..shaking clearly scared with all the events ..
Woh ...woh gund ...gunde ..unhoon ne ..
She couldn't even say it clearly sobbing ..n maan cradled her in his embrace patting her head ..soothingly caressing her back ..handling her shaking self as if she was the most fragile feather of the universe ..his warmth n care was all tht she needed at tht moment carving to be with him since month this moment was a tressure for her .. n she cried ..cried like nvr before all those buried emotion her fear ..her longing everything came out with she held him n he was thr holding her devastated self ..

Geet conti with her complaints crying..asking him y he left ...n he nvr once answered her ...ocassionally asking woh fir se tou nhi aayenge ..maan tried to part her make HV water n calm her but she would just tighten her hold crying n he gave up ..
Maan was so surprised seeing her like this ..he always has seen her like a strong headed independent girl knowing her way out in every situation but today he realized tht she has a 17 years old kid in her no matter how harsh the life has treated her no matter how much she try n show herself strong but she isn't ...at this moment she looked no less than a child scared after a v.bad nightmare .. he simply couldn't leave her in this condition ..n
