Your words painted a picture for me. The darkness of the night indicative of the darkness she has just come out of: her family, the storms indicating her own disturbed state of mind, the washing away of sindoor showing the dissolving of her marriage... Everything was really well worded!

She is married, not happily though. And there's a prized possession. I won't deduce who she has been married to and what the possession is. But one thing caught my attention; she knows Maan is her destiny... I'm curious to know how.
