Wonderful update in Ch 19. Great to see that Maan has modeled KC on the lines of truly progressive companies -- ones that have well established policies in place to handle harassment (and worse) cases..

We need more fictitious and real life heroes that are as morally upright as Maan; ones who are willing to do the right thing even if it means hurting their own self interest (e.g. offering Geet legal council so that she can bring charges against KC).

In situations like these, oftentimes, the injured woman tends to be highly guilt-ridden for whatever transpired and is reluctant to come forward to press charges for fear of reprisal or loss of credibility, embarrassment... It was wonderful to see Man continuously reassuring her that IT WAS NOT HER FAULT!

I am looking forward to reading how, with the support of this strong man, Geet gains the self-confidence to fight against all the atrocities from her past.

Ritzy: Kudos to you for using this forum as a dialogue board for discussing real life issues that women face at their workplace and ways to safeguard themselves.

Thanks Dear...that is so true. But I feel it is upto us to amke an environment where we force bosses and senior managment to be like this. If not everywhere but still in many places, things could get better if women stuck together and supported each other.

my comment is not upon whole update... i meant its on every part of it that i felt so touched...

i loved the start... yes maan was upset, angry and in pain.. yet i loved the way he composed himself.. its so true that its in human to always think in ways to have avoided such things by changing events of past... and MSK was no different... he wished he realized his emotions earlier.. he wished he could have prevented this and protected her... but this is all just the reflection of what u wish to have done to wat has actually happened... And the thing i loved is his acceptance to reality and trying to deal with it... and more than that his assurance for her future... Past is something thats done and cant be changed.. we live in present and defo we can make things better for future... Though it was a short part u wrote on his thoughts, i completely loved it... it has so much intense value and emotions in it...

And the confrontation was fab... it was brilliantly written...

I just could feel every emotion of each character there...

Geet, who had gone through so much fears to meet him, coz she is scared that he might doubt her... and on the other hand MSK is completely shaken to see her in such a devastated state...

I loved the sensibility in each word of MSK.. there was nothing that was more or less... He put forth all that is facts and all that can be done in true sense.. he never exaggerated.. he never went overboard coz of his love for her... it was completely realistic... He just putforth wat can be done in such a situation...

And Geet's fear of police... its so painful... she is stuck in such a situation... she cant even go for justice coz of her past... she cant punish a moron for his brutal behavior coz of the darkness in her past... and when her Maan sir agrees to avoid legal things, she tries to clear her innermost fear with him by asking if he trust her... and there again he assures her of it and surprises her by informing her about how his company is responsible for what happened and she can put a claim...

Yes.. this is what a true human does... its not required that u have to be rich or poor.. man or woman... all u need to be is a good human... We hardly find such ppl in true sense... He could have said a sorry.. he could have felt bad and financially supported her to... or punished Rahul by other means, but wat i saw here was the ownership and responsibility the person had as an employer on his staff; the depth to which he considered morals...

And Geet is surprised by his gesture and yet again the respect goes up for him every time... and i loved the way she promised to overcome the scenario and get back fresh... and in the mean time her dedication to work inspite of this trauma was amazing...

Loved it to bits ritzy... And i completely adored the way you have characterized MSK and Geet in this...

its one of the best updates of winter sonata till date... i became so much emotional with the update and hence the lengthy blah blah...
