Am i the only person who can't dislike Maya? I never hated her, maybe pissed with her poisoning a child's mind but that was it. Never hatred. My heart went out for Kiran. I know how it feels when someone reminds you of an old scar you so want to forget. Kiran is in the same position. The scar she wants to forget always comes before her, and needless to say the present which reminds her of the past may effect the future too. I was wondering about the last line of the doc.
We all know that Aravi being a child is susceptible to the infection and Kiran should be extra careful with her child now. And if she stays away from Aarav, that would sow a negative seed in his little brain. Oh Palin how I want to undo everything in their life, though I am clueless as of what to do.

You know, whenever I read about strangers being kind to you, I think ke abhi bhi duniya mein acchai hai. It feels like a taboo these days! You gave an example here when the doctor payed Aarav a visit this late at night. 😊

Another issue that happens in almost every house: chicken pox or fever to a child and the child afraid of injections. But it's kind of funny when this fear of injections carries itself when the child is grown up!{We have a "live example" here mariam..Ask Diva7 how much she loves "Injection"...😆} I know many who won't admit but they're scared of injections! 😆{I am not practically scared but I have to make myself mentally prepared for injection...😃}

I feel bad for Kiran. She is a mother, after all and she'll do anything for her children. Even listen to the taunts of her mother in law. But she still is kind and loving enough to be concerned for her Saas's pain immediately after receiving a scolding from the latter! She is a gem of a person and it's Maya's bad luck that she can't love her back!

Though after reading Avi's piece, I'm trying to see it from Maya's perspective too. She is probably too concerned for her grandson to care for what she says and to whom. But still taunting an already concerned mother and accusing her of not having motherly feelings in her is way too much! 🤢

There was very little of Maan and Geet in this chapter but it's needed for the story, I think? Whatever little there was, I loved the concerned Mamu and Mami! 😳

This update brought to mind all those soldiers worldwide who are out defending borders created by politicians. Their families esp their wives shoulder the burden of everything by themselves. Lucky for Kiran she has family support but usually those living by themselves must have such a tough time dealing with all the issues from teaching to sickness.

Heart tugging update again Palin. Very well done.

Yaar yeh Maya ka metamorphosis reverse mein kaise ho gaya? Avi ne usse butterfly banaya aur tune usse phir caterpillar stage mein pahucha diya, prickly itchy and irritating as hell. Ya phir yeh keh sakte hai, she is suffering from permanent case of chicken pox. Bechara Aarav is itchy irritable, suffering from high fever and feeling miserable. Isn't Maya exactly like that, irritable, suffering from high temper surges, making others around her miserable. That woman is really sick. And I mean literally sick.

I hated chicken pox with a passion when I got them. So you can guess my exact feelings towards Maya memsaab.😡

As for Geet and Maan, the whole last paragraph reminded me of the song,

Do dil mil rahe hain, magar chupke chupke.😳

This chocolate installment was bittersweet.
