"Stupid greedy, arrogant Maan Singh Khurana! I can't believe he's Annie's brother! I am sure there must be a step business going on! I mean step-brother or something! Annie is so nice and he...he's...he's so durr-brain! ...I won't, I can't, I am flying to Stoneybrook today itself" she went on thinking without paying attention where she was walking.

"I can't even call Annie to tell her to handle his brother...he's such...such a pain, in-the-you-know-what!"

Geet went home, slumped on her bed, tired...she had enough, enough of MSK to buzz in her head.

"That creep in the-you-know-what! How dare he to drag me in from of the whole school, damn ass! Whoops sorry Babaji" she prayed while cursing the same time.

"I've got projects to complete!" Geet moaned but Maan took no notice.

"Dimwit, even I am doing a project" Maan snapped back growling.

"But I can't understand this, why are we pretending to be gf-bf when we are doing things separately?" Geet asked lamely.

"That's why...I was right, you're a total dimwit!" Maan snapped again. Geet gasped in shock at his rude behaviour.

"How rude!" Geet mumbled.

"You played a prank on me; so now suffer!" Maan growled fiercely.

"What? Even Pinky and Annie played a prank on u!" Geet shouted back. Maan took no notice and continued his work.

After thinking for hours at that coffee shop, Geet got the realization that Maan was not going to let her go because of her prank, so instead of wasting time; she started doing some of her project work.

Gemini Coffee Shop was the hangout of Maan and Geet. They would often go there twice a week as Geet's punishment for disturbing Maan with that prank call as he was in a very highly important meeting, as Maan claimed. Geet used to sulk but as Maan said her behaviour did not disturb him at all.

Even that waitress Fliss was so used of them.

"Hey lover-birds!" Fliss called as usual embarrassing Geet, but Maan who had the habit of ignoring people, ignored her.

"Look, because of you, she thinks we love each other!" Geet growled under her breath.

"You're taking as if I was the root of this problem" Maan said shrugging.

"This girl is absurd, weird, different and so strange. Yet, I have to admit she's pretty!"

"So what are you guys taking today?" Fliss asked. Maan did not bother replying. "Love, what about you" Fliss said turning her head to Geet.

"One sandwich please and one mocha latte, and he's paying" Geet said mischievously. Maan was shocked but did not react. This girl was trying to work him out but he was miles intelligent than her.

Maan shrugged and replied to Fliss "sure thing". Fliss smiled and said "love is in the air...!"

Geet blushed, Maan was so shocked seeing Geet blushing that he was open-mouthed.

1 hour later

"Maan..."

"Mmm"

"Maan...Maan"

Geet shook Maan's hand violently.

"What! Can't you just keep your mouth shut" he thundered.

"Can you explain me this?" Geet said giving her a puppy face. Maan melted through her gaze. Somewhere she did have an effect of her. Maan leaned closer and explained to her.

After the discussion, Geet squealed with excitement "oh thank you, I dunno it was so easy to understand this mathematical question...!"

Maan smiled at her innocence.

"You're such a baby" he remarked. Geet snorted and retorted "yeah, right baby!"

"I still don't understand why Annie don't ask you those arithmetic question" Geet blabbered.

Maan shrugged but still added cheekily "you need a brain to think which you don't have at all..." Maan smirked.

"What?" Geet gawked.

Maan shrugged. He just loved annoying her; it was so easy to wind her up and watch her go like a toy. He liked her innocence, her easy going eyes and her excited mood all way round...even her cursing mood or her foul language limited to "in-the-you-know-what" as she had kept repeating it the first four days until she got used with him. And it had become his habit to pay for the mocha lattes and sandwiches.

Geet was not less; she liked Maan alright, and she knew somewhere they did behave like girlfriend and boyfriend. She just did not want to admit it because she felt shy about it, also embarrassed and a little bit ashamed. He was rude, arrogant dog; a pain in the you-know-where; also a total tool when it came to her homeworks.

It was Valentines' Day; the last day of Geet's punishment. Geet felt a little bit of excitement making her jumping up and down.

"It's just because it's the end of my punishment, one whole month finished" she thought reassuring herself.

"I think he'll ask me out for the Valentine Prom" she thought. "We behaved like gf-bf for a whole month for goodness sake, he must have a little feeling, a tiny one; for me...!"

"Even though I did enjoy his company for teaching me arithmetic but really...I do like him...Okay" she said debating her thoughts "I did like his company after all, he was a good influence, I loved his coaching and a little tiny bit of him when he was not rude at all..."

Maan made his way to Gemini Coffee Shop, it was almost one month he had been so called 'dating' Geet aka Geetika Handa. He liked her alright, even though; she was half crazy at times if not total crazy. He liked coaching Maths to her as if she was a kid. As usual her excited face made him smile all day long. Even Annie started to suspect there was something going on between her best buddy and her brother.

"It's Valentine, and I think I got to tell Geet what I think about her...just I like her, that's it, no need to go mushy all with gross words" he thought and smiled.

[Hey, Maan, I liked that, no mushy and passionate!!!🤣]

He had bought a bouquet along him, it was a small one, small enough to fit in his jacket; consisting of 3 roses; one red, one pink and the last one pale pink.

Maan entered and saw Geet pacing the floor .Geet's face lit when she saw Maan.

"She's just happy that we'll stop dating!" Maan thought sadly but still he needed to try his luck.

"Geet...I need to tell you something!" Maan said taking a deep breath.

"Hey love-birds, I knew you were coming, eh, all couples hanging out, kissing session at Gemma's" Fliss grumbled loudly.

"Don't worry!" Maan called back "no kissing session for me" and winked at Geet who blushed smilingly.

"I need to tell you something" Maan repeated.

"So do I..." Geet said.

"You first..."

"I am so happy Maan...first for letting me go...my punishment is over..."

Maan's heart sank.

"But...still I loved spending my time with you and my arithmetic was so well, that my grade ranked" Geet said and blushed staring at her feet. "And I..."

"I too have something to say" Maan said urgently. He did not want to hear she liked someone else. So he rather cut her off. Geet was annoyed but Maan smiled. Geet's face fell when she saw Maan hiding a bouquet.

"So he got a gf" she thought. In her vocabulary gf-bf was a bad word.

Geet's heart sank.

"Woh...I like you...I really do" Maan said feeling his cheeks going red. For the first time; he was sort of blushing. Geet smiled shyly and said "I like you too."

"So what were you going to say before I cut you off...?" Maan inquired.

"The same thing..."

"Which thing" Maan raised an eyebrow asking.

"Silly, that I like you".

Maan chuckled while Fliss screamed at the top of her lungs "No kissing scene please!" Maan chuckled loudly. He grabbed Geet by the arm and led her outside the caf. "We'll have more privacy!"

That's all I could manage. I am so tired after school that I don't feel like writing at all...Sorry won't reply to any comments but that isn't an excuse for not liking and commenting! I do check!!! Please comment good; or bad...😉

Superb! Just luvd it. It was total fun. U have kept the dhamaka for last part...n it was superhit. Geets cursing was also cute n funny like her. ...What punishmen- free treat in cafe, coching by msk ,... And most imp.date with MSK ...,chahe jhootha hi sahi. Maan luvs annoying her...admires her innocence... In dono se achhi toh fliss hai...she knows that they r luv birds...so already warning NO KISSING. NOW AS ITS OFFICAL...WE SHOULD GIVE THEM PRIVACY.
