It was morning, at handa haveli, brij and mohinder where having tea sitting at the dinning area...while rano was serving them breakfast...
"so all preparations done?" mohinder asked brij...
"jee tayaji...sab tayari ho gayi hai" brij informed...
"brij geet ka waha khayal rakhana...you know how nave she is...just look after her" rano could not hold back her concern...
"aap fikar mat kijiye tayi ji...jab tak geet waha hai woh meri jimmedari hai" with this rano sighed in relief...
"tayi ji aap please geet ko bula denge...agar nikalane mai late ho gaya...toh bohat traffic milega...aur aap toh delhi ka traffic jante ho"
"ha beta mai usse bulati hu...pata nahi yeh ladki itna time kyu le rahi hai..." and saying this rano went upstairs towards geet's room...after reaching her door, she tried opening it...but it was locked from inside...
"geet puttar...tayar hui ki nahi...brij ko late ho raha hai beta...jaldi neeche aa ja"
"ji...mai abhi aayi neeche...2 min mai"
"ok beta" and rano left from there...
geet broke down crying feeling helpless with her own emotions...
"why this is so painfull babaji...kyu mujhe itna dar lag raha hai unse dur jane mai"
she was hyperventilating with her own hiccups...
"unse dur chali jaungi toh shayad sab thik ho jayega...par kyu yeh dil unse dur jane ko raaji nahi hai"

"don't lie geet...maan se kuch jhagada hua hai kya" saying this he stopped the car, pulling it aside...
"nahi veer ji...unse jhagada kyu hoga" she stammered...
"I know maan is too matured, woh kabhi tumse jhagada nahi karega...but then what is bothering you...you just tel me...mai sab thik kar dunga"
brij took hold of her chin, and made her look at him...
"just tel me once geet...is it you don't wana come to hoshiyarpur? agar aisa hai toh bata mujhe...I wont force you gudiya"
"nahi veer ji, mujhe aana hai aapke saath...aapki shadi mujhe dekhani hai...mujhe sabki yaad aati hai...rajji, titto, beeji, darji...unse milana hai mujhe" she cried helplessly, hugging brij from his waist, leaning her head on his chest...
"then why this tears" he said wiping them off...he knew she is already missing her mom and dad and may be maan more...
"geet you are missing taya ji and tayi ji na" he pulled out of the hug, caressing her messed hair back...
"ummm" geet nodded positively...to which brij laughed...
"aur kahi aisa toh nahi ki maan ko jada miss kar rahi hai" he teased, smirking looking at her pink cheeks...
geet didn't said anything, just looked down, forgetting her sorrows, blushing just with his name...
"nahi veer ji, unko mat bulayiye" she panicked...
"kyu" he was suspicious now...
"woh yaha delhi mai nahi hai...bohat jaruri project ke liye London gaye hai" she lied feeling guilty...
"ohhh toh issiliye meri doll itni low hai...chalo koi nahi, let him work...kaam bhi toh jaruri hai na"
geet nodded to which brij gave her an understanding look and they droved off away from delhi...
"dadi I will be leaving now...aur aaj late ghar aaunga" he said with a blank face...
"maan nashta toh kar lijiye...hum sab aapka hi wait kar rahe the"
"maan aapne kal bhi khana nahi khaya hai...chup chap yaha baithiye hamare saath" dadi ordered sternly...as left with no other option, he sat there and aet his breakfast hurriedly...he knew geet would be here any time...and he didn't wanted to face her...not this soon...
his heart was beating at an dangerous speed...anticipating to face her any moment...he just gulped the morsel as soon as possible...looking at there main door...her accusation where still fresh in his mind, and he thought his anger would only raise if he sees her...and some where he didn't wanted to make the situation any more worse between them...
"dadi I am done...and I am leaving now" and he left without waiting for any reply...dadi and everyone just kept staring at his retreating form, knowing there is something fishy here...
maan sat in his car, sighing in relief...he leaned his head back, closing his eyes shut...as geet's angelic face flashed infront...her nave smile, her cute pouting, her serene beauty, her red blushing cheeks...uff he was head over heels in love with her...but then her immaturity, her baseless accusation, her childish antics...he opened his eyes, which again had that rage in it...he hit the steering wheel in anger...
"kyu yaha mai wait kar raha hu uska...maan just get a grip on your self...usko ek baar dekhane se sab fir pehale jaisa nahi hoga"
"everything is changed...sab kuch badal gaya hai...sab kuch" and with this he droved off...
he tried to keep his calm in office, and kept himself busy, reading there old files...but could not help his mind from diverting towards geet...her face, her thoughts haunted him every second...he wished he should have controlled his anger that day...so now geet would have being in his arms...but then her accusations, did I deserved that...
he hit his hand on the table, making a loud sound..."no geet you have crossed your limit this time...and I wont forgive you so easily"
"aap kaise ho beeji" she said breaking the hug...and then looked at darji who was sitting among few people, discussing something...excited she ran towards him without thinking...beeji and brij called her from back, trying to stop her...as they knew darji wont like it...but as soon as geet reached close to him...she hugged him lovingly...screaming...
"aap kaise ho darji, maine aapko kitna miss kiya pata hai"
geet got confused, what she done now...as she could see anger on darji's face...she pulled away from the hug...and started walking back, as her hazels clouded with fresh tears...she was confused yet disappointed with herself...with her life, as she was not able to make anyone happy around her...maan was not happy being with her, nor was her parents...as she sometimes would see how dejected they feel with her behaviour...her friends would always crib and fight with her...and now darji...may be there is some big problem with me...i am not able to live up to there expectations...I am lacking in every way...
