To copy individual slides:

Start PowerPoint
Open your PowerPoint presentation.
Select the slide you want to insert into your Word document.
Copy the slide.
- In 2003, from the Edit drop-down list, select Copy.
- In 2007/2010:
  1. Select the Home tab.
  2. In the Clipboard group, click the Copy icon.
Start Word.
Open the document into which you want to paste the slide.
Place the cursor where you would like to insert the slide.
Paste the slide.
- In 2003, from the Edit drop-down list, select Paste.
- In 2007, right click on your mouse, from the drop-down list select Paste.
- In 2010, right click on your mouse, and under Paste Options:, click theClipboard icon.
