Part 6 (OUR SIDE OF STORY) (half part)

She cuts the cake and the first piece she feeds him, he bites half peice, she keeps the remaining peice in the plate, Mandavi smiles and picks it up and extends to feed it to her, Maan says, 'Maa take a fresh peice' Mandavi laughs, 'Geet, hope you know why you should eat this one', Geet blushed hard and ate it, Maan stood there wondering what was all this.

Everyone ate the cake and after an hour Maneet were alone in the room. He looked a bit uncomfortable, she also was nervous, she could feel butterflies in her stomach, she tried to speak but words were caught in her throat, she had the same feeling that she had all those years back,

finally she said, 'sir, actually, i mean' he saw her fumbling and suddenly it dawned on him that why was she here, did his family call her, or did Pinky sent her, why is she here on front of him, he said, 'Geet why are you here?' she was startled by the question but the irrtation in his voice told her that he was trying to make her run away; she smiled and thought not again, this time you will not be able to get rid of me. She took a deep breath and stepped towards him, he was surprised, he stepped back, 'what are you doing?'

she smirked, so Mr. Over smart I do effect you, she said, 'sir, there' she pointed to his mouth, he frowned, 'what', she gave him an innocent look, ' theres icing on your' she stopped, he asked rubbing his cheeks, 'where', she stepped further and traced her finger on the corner of the mouth, his heartbeat stopped, she was also effected but controlled herself, ' breathe sir, I am done'.

He was embarrased and looked here and there, she watched him getting restless, then said, 'sir, can we sit' he just nodded and moved to sit as he turned she caught his wrist, he was taken aback and froze, she moved forward and took his left hand and kissed his palm, he closed his eyes, she turned it and held his ring finger, he suddenly opened his eyes when he felt a ring sliding in his finger, he gave her a confused look, she then kissed the ring and ignoring his gaze said, 'our marriage date has been fixed'.

He pulled his hand from her grip and said, 'what, but' she interrupted him, placed her finger on his lips, 'now its your turn' she gave him the ring he had brought for her years back, he looked at it, 'who gave it to you?' she smiled, 'no one, I took it from the drawer' she placed it on his palm, and offered her hand, 'its waiting to go to where it belongs'.

He shrugged, 'Geet, this will not happen, we are no marrying' she pulled him to her, 'who is asking you? As all those years back you decided to leave me without my will, now I am deciding what to do, without your permission' he stepped back, 'no, I can not do this' she by now lost her pateince and shouted, 'why is it always you who decide? I am fed up with your stuboness, look Maan (his name sounded so good when coming from her lips, he thought), I am no more taking your I am always right attitude, now if you back off from marrying me I will do something you will regret', he was scared, he imagined many things, 'what, what will you do'.

She smirked and stepped forward he stepped back, finally stopping when his back hits the wall, she came near him, and grabbed his collar and tiptoed to seal his lips, at first he was too shocked to react, but as she continued to lick them, he surrendered after all he too desired for her, she felt his hands around her waist, and she loosened her hold on him and stepped back, retrieving the ring from his hand and gave it to him geturing him, he sighed and took the ring and slide it in her ring finger, she smiled controlling her tears and said, 'now you get to kiss you fiancee' he cupped her face, and said, 'sorry, Geet, sorry for everything' she pulled him and said, 'dont wate time Maan you have 6 years to compansate for, so just use the time' he smiled and they were lost in the escatsy.

The passion was running high, soon they were out of breath, he pulled back and looked at her flushed face, she could see his eyes dark with desire, he controlled himself but now she was a mature lady not some fresh passout who will let him go, she pulled him to the couch and sat on his lap, cupping his face she said, 'why did you make me go?' he had nothing to say, she rested her forhead on his and said, 'tell me if there was even a single day when you did not miss me' he gulped and said, 'what about you?'

he tried to move back, she did not let him and said, 'I did not miss you' he looked diappointed but remained quite, she stood up, she could no longer hold back her tears she said, 'missing you would be like stop breathing, Maan you are my every heart beat, I could only miss you if my heart stopped beating, I can only miss you if I forget to breathe' he was shocked by her words, he pulled her to him, 'Geet, you love me so much' she cried hard, by the time her tears stopped his shirt was soaked wet, he carassed her hair and cried silently with her.

After 26 days, 9th Nov 2011,

Geet was sitting in her room at HSPur, she was ready and Rajji was asking her all sort of stupid questions, Pinky was smiling at her and listening to the younger girl's continuos blabbering. Suddenly few girls entred the room, Baraat aa gayi, Rajji ran with them to see the wedding procession, Pinky took Geet with her to the window, Geet was carrying rice in her hand, as the groom stepped on the threshhold, she poured the rice,(it is a ritual followe in few regions of India) and stepped back before anyon can see her. Rest of the rituals followed, and finally Maan draped a mangalsutra on her neck and applied sindoor in her hair parting. Now she was Mrs. GMSK.
