Eagle Eye was started by some of my closest friends on Geet Discussion Board to offer our appreciation, love and criticism to a show that became a part of our life over the days.
But just when Uncle Mark decided to gobble up our discussion board, I, on behalf of every member on Geet Wall opened this group to continue our fun and sometimes fight.
We spent our time, our knowledge and most importantly, our emotions on this group and bonded together for a lifetime over a story, over two characters who became a part of US.
Last year this day, was the most heart breaking twist in the show, as far as I am concerned.
This day our Maan and Geet lost their first child.
I remember there had been lots and lots of discussion over the pros and cons of Geet having the baby and also having a baby on the sets.
Every discussion and argument had its logic, some I understand today since its been a year and time makes you see sense sometimes.
But, I felt like writing something today for the angel who left us that day.
( I know its a show, but GHSP has never been only a show nor Maan/Geet only fictitious characters for us).
I have always maintained that Geet was a reality and Maan a dream in this never seen before love story. But the layer of transition that merged the dream and reality was the child.
Maaneet had many wanted and unwanted cupids and catalysts, but the real one that joined them in the unbreakable bond was her. ( I would like to believe it was a daughter):)
Geet showed the world,
"God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers." ~~ Rudyard Kipling
and The Ma(a)n, the example, showed,
"The most important thing that a father can do for his children is to love their mother." ~~ Theodore M. Hesburgh
On this day, I reminiscent how much I loved this show, the characters and of course the love story and the "angel" who made that possible. :)
I am sure she is in a better place watching over her parents and her brother.
Sorry for my rambling, I am very emotional right now.
Love you.
God Bless :)
