Stereotype is not the word for Gurmeet Choudhary!
In the present world where things keep on changing every single second no one wishes to get tagged as a stereotype. And our television and film actors are no way different. They too wish to bring in variations in their acts.
However, the real challenge lies in getting accepted in all those changes. Especially our TV stars face the trouble more when it comes to get typecast. Reason being, when they get famous through any on-screen character of theirs, fans generally tend to see them essaying a similar character. But for small screen hunk Gurmeet Choudhary, the case is a slight different.
We know that he started off his small screen stint playing Lord Ram in Imagine TV's Ramayan. Later he got roped for the highly popular Geet Hui Sabse Parayi to play the angry young man, Maan Singh Khurana. That time it was reported by few of industry critics that after essaying a mythological character Gurmeet won't be able to justify this new role. But they all got a strong blow when Gurmeet not only did justice to his role but even helped the show reach new heights of success, which as of today stand to be unbeatable.
Similar buzz started making round when Geet got over; Gurmeet once again got targeted and people started claiming that it won't be easy for him to get a role as powerful as Maan. Well, just see Gurmeet has yet again proven his mettle. He has bagged lead role in Zee TV's Punar Vivah which is made by Shashi-Sumit Mittal known for path breaking shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum!
Though this time around Gurmeet is not paired opposite Drashti Dhami, but respecting the professionalism the two have we are sure their respective ventures would always succeed in impressing their fans. We are extremely happy that GC has entered the Zee family and is in safe hands.
Hoping Punar Vivah to start a new success story for Gurmeet!
