Chapter 6

"Bye Kristy Di" I said and kissed her cheek.

"Choti, do you want me to drop you'?"

I rang the doorbell. It was Tiffany who opened it. Tiff is Nikki's sister. Whoops! Did I forgot to mention that Josh's dad is from Great Britain, Tiff is twenty-three years old. I greeted her.

"Hi Tiffany, how are you?"

"Hey, Geet, the others are already up. Looking really beautiful in your Indian attires" Tiffany said.

Geet smiled. "Thanks Tiff"

"You're welcome" Tiffany answered.

Tiff really loves me in my salwar kameez. She is very hardworking and gentle at heart. You can appease her after two minutes after a terrible fight. She's sort of another version of Kristy Di.

I entered Nikki's room, well, basically everything is pink. Nikki's a very pink person. From her dressing table, to her closet to her carpets to the colour of her wall, everything is pink. Priya says she always want to puke at that colour and Nikki just roll her eyes. I too love pink but I am not obsessed with fashion and clothes. A simple salwar kameez is okay for me. And Nikki will keep chirping about Fashion and lastest trend now. I got my cotton balls with me, if in case'

"Heyya guys" Geet said as she swung Nikki's bedroom door opened. Nikki looked up smilingly.

"Geet, why are you late?" Josh asked. "I got caught up home" Geet answered dumping her backpack under Nikki's dressing table.

"Hey, so how do we start?" Nikki asked throwing some smarties to Geet.

"Let's start with a teddy fight" Josh said pumping her fists on.

"We're so childish" Priya remarked.

"So?"

Priya rolled her eyes and took out her teddy. Geet took out hers; it was a big brown teddy with chocolate paired eyes and a red tie with him.

I took out DD MSK. Why are you laughing? Just because I named my teddy MSK ' actually it's fat like that jock and I always beat Nikki's Nibbles, Josh's Joey and Priya's Soccer Sore! And DD means for Dhak Dhak. I loved these old fashion names. DD MSK makes me hug him more and more. It's so soft that I can kiss that millions of time! Nibbles is a small soft teddy, Joey is a big nose bear and Soccer Sore is a teddy with a Manchester United Strip. Thank God it's not real MSK!

"Hey! Did I say that Lionel Messi won the Golden Ball'for soccer" Priya said excitedly as she launched her teddy on Josh kneeling her down on the floor with a loud thud.

"Who's Messi?" Nikki asked between her breath as she and Geet were laughing off their heads as they attacked each other with their teddy.

"Nibbles is O-U-T" Geet laughed. Nikki groaned and said "You're DD-MSK is a super teddy'I bet it's because his name is MSK" Nikki winked at Geet. Geet muttered something and said "Nope, because it's name is DD ' my Dhak Dhak" Geet laughed.

"Anybody would think that MSK is your Dhak Dhak!" Nikki teased.

"Huh?"

"MSK is your hearbeat" Nikki said again when DD MSK came crashing full on Nikki's face throwing her on the floor!

"I won! DD MSK won!" Geet jumped proudly and turned to Priya and Josh.

I wasn't getting any sleep. I thought why Geet forgave me so easily. She's pricky and sticky. But whatever I can't spend a single day without arguing with her! I soon dozed off thinking what Adi told me ' I don't know how to write an apology letter!

"Girls are you okay?" Mrs. Stevenson said entering the room. We were all on the floor with our teddies on the top of us. We all went red and Mrs. Stevenson laughed and closed the door. Nikki's mom is one of the cool parents. She understands us so well!

We went to eat dinner. Mrs. Stevenson is a very good cook. I kept licking my fingers that Mrs. Stevenson laughed her head out!

Then we all crouched in Nikki's bedroom and we lit our torches on and faced each other and switched off the main electricity.

We talked some secrets and we went to sleep. Tomorrow was another day at college. This was the first slumber party we had when we were going to school. Priya came with this idea because she said to cheer ourselves from stress and things like that. And Nikki asked her parents and they said it was okay with them.

I kept staring at the ceiling wondering why I forgave Maan so quickly. I guess I was scared of this action or this closeness again! Crap! We forgot to do our home-works! Anyway'.I'..wa'.s'..l'.eep'y'.

I heard a noise. I flinched. I woke up lazily; I opened my eyes and saw two legs moving. I woke up scratching my head. I felt something moving on my sleeping bag. I saw Priya dressed in her tomboy clothes, Nikki's in her skirts and heels, and Josh in a shorts and t-shirt. They were all doing our different subjects' works.

We all arrived to college at our regular time. I saw MSK and gang sitting on Sameer's motorcycle and bullying people around. I frowned. The jock, my mind screamed. Yeah, he was a dumb jock who annoyed me and my friends a lot!

We were walking past them when Sameer's voice broke our little group.

"Hey Geet! Girls, come here for some minutes" he said.

I frowned.

"What's up, jock" Priya asked sarcastically. I just love her sarcasm!

"Tomorrow's a party in my farmhouse and all students in our class are invited'so you're all invited too ' all four of us" Sameer said.

Maan smirked.

We were all mum but I knew what to do. "Well, Sameer, thanks for the offer" I said looking at Maan and then at Sameer and added "but I have my part-time job tomorrow" and I shrugged.

Priya added "I do tennis coaching to little kids" and she shrugged too! Copy-cat!

Josh shrugged too and said "Sameer, I'd love to but since I can't stand Samira, I won't come and plus me and Geet have to go baby-sittings for our cousins' babies" Josh fibbed at the babies part! It was true, Mrs. Newton asked me to babysit for her daughter!

Nikki rolled her eyes and pointed to Nikhil "not if he's coming".

Geet irritates me with her demands and lame excuses so I butted in. It was my biggest mistake!

"Geet, you're excuses are lame!" I said.

Geet frowned and said.

"So, what? It's true that me and Joshinee have babysitting jobs"

"So?" I smirked.

"So what? If it's such an easy job, why don't you join us!" Geet challenged.

"Huh?"

"MSK got scared of babies" she smirked.

"No" I replied boldly.

"I am coming, tomorrow!"

Adi, Nikhil and Sameer stared at me, eye-widened. Geet and her friends grinned. But Geet's grin was a moment to be captured!

To tell you the truth, I wasn't sure of the babysitting job!
