My meeting with Gurmeet and Drashti on the set

I just wanted to share my experience of my second meeting with Gurmeet and Drashti.

When i was booking my ticket to visit India, I called Gurmeet and asked if he was going to be there in Dec and he said yes he will be there. So I had a plan to visit them on 15th but one of my best friend called me before I left for India that show is closing and I better go early otherwise I will miss them.

So right away I called my nephew and booked the ticket for 10th to go to mumbai. I landed at Ahemdabad on 9th 2.30 am and the next day I left for mumbai at 5.30am from Surat. Arrived in mumbai around 10.30 am and my friend gave me the address of the set and after checking in at YMCA I directly went on the set. It took almost 2 to 3 hrs to reach the set from Mumbai Central in hot and muggy taxi ride but well it was for my most favorite Gurmeet and Drashti & I did not mind it. (Though my nephew could not understand it ha ha ha...)

Well I went on the set and asked for my contact but he left for meeting so I asked where is Gumeet? I was told he was in his room. So I knocked on the door and pushed open the door and there he was seated on the chair I said hi Gurmeet eva here how r you?. Right away He got up and extended his hand welcoming me saying hi eva please come in how r you? and he made the chair available for me and he sat on the bed.

Praneet (adi sir) was there having his lunch and I said sorry to disturb you but of course he did not mind and kept on with his lunch. Gurmeet offerd the lunch but I told him I had a big BF and do not eat lunch but he kept on asking me and finally I said I will just have the coffee if you have it. So he called someone and ordered the coffee for me.

Then he shared the lunch with Adi and asked someone to bring some more subji and roti and while during the lunch we kept on talking. After their lunch was done then we talked about all kind of TV shows and the show I liked in US and all that. Adi asked me few details about me then he went out and I and my nephew had grt time with Gurmeet alone.

Then DD came and I said hi Drashti and then right away she recognised me and said Eva? and came and gave me a big hug. Then she also sat in the room and we chatted away and Praneet made fun of her and we all had great time making fun of each other. They told me that only few days left, all are sad but all are trying to have as much fun as possible. And then Melaine came and she also sat with us and then I had nice time talking with her too. She is really a lovely lady and I had a great time talking with her. She is really a very caring and lovely girl and takes good care of DD and is one of her very good friend on the set. and ladies she told me that her FB account has been hecked and she has no control over it so she is not operating it.

I told them your fans are sad and they said they are sad too but what could they do as it is the decision of channel. then they were called for the shot and Gurmeet took me with him on the set and asked some one to get us the chairs and water. He is extremely nice and from the set he signalled me if I was comfortable and if I needed anything. I just shook my head and just signalled him for the water bottle and he asked some one to get that for me right away.

After the shot was done we all came back to Gurmeet's room and sat and talked and laughed away. Then I gave them few gifts and Gurmeet and Drashti both told me not to bring them gifts as I already gave them plenty but I insisted and told them to take whatever they like the most and they just took few. Both were very happy and gave me hugs and I was able to take many pictures with them.

Then Gurmeet had to attend an event so he asked for pack up and he was free to go then he came back again and sat with me for some time talking and even wore a jacket I gave him and said he loved it so I told him let's have a picture with it and he laughed and had picture with me.

As he had to leave he told me to come the next day also as he has to shoot whole day. So Gurmeet and Praneet left and then I left too.

Next morning I called him and asked if he was on the set and If I could come he said please come I am on the set whole day. So the next day also I went and met both Gurmeet and Drashti and had great time watching them shoot. After the shoot Drashti went to attend some phone call and he came and sat with me on the living room sofa on the set. Couple of other fans also came to meet them and Drashti and Gurmeet met them and posed for the pictures and talked with them too.

Then I showed him his few pictures on my ipod and on my camera and we just sat there looking at it together. then he was called for the shot and we watched the shooting on the CCTV. Then the director Sandeep Sharma came and I thanked him for his hard work and said I loved what he did with Vikas track. He is extremely polite and very courteous and a true gentleman.

As I needed to leave to catch my train back to Surat I said Bye to both of them and Gurmeet gave me a big hug and both of them said happy journey and went for their shot. I told him I am not sure when I will see him again but he said eva you are coming next year too to see me.

Ladies I do not have enough words to express my joy meeting Gurmeet and Drashti again and just that they both made my visit very enjoyable and gave me so much personal attention and I absolutely adore them.

And Yes I have a positive hope that Maaneet does not end here and they will definitely come back together. Let's hope for the best.

Right now I do not have any facility to upload my pictures but as soon as I will get the chance I will do so. but I just could not help but wrtie about meeting them and share my joy with all of you. Hope you will love meeting them with my eyes..

Well in short I had great great time with my beloved Gurmeet and Drashti and few other casts. I also saw Sameer and Ahwan and Mamji and Preeto but they were too far away.
