I don't think Vikram is dead. He won't go out of Maneet's life that easily.

So is Vikas leaving and some other actor is coming back to play Vikram?? Just a thought, since Geet and Maan both has seen his face so clearly and there is also the CD which will show his face clearly.

I have a very strange feeling but scared even to share it.

Cracker of an episode today!

For once I wasn't making any excuses for the characters or trying to justify inconsistencies. There was just enough logic that was able to watch without thinking too much. The only question is, how did MSK and the police get into the go down when Geet couldn't get out? Was there an alternate entrance or can MSK break walls now? I wouldn't put it past him! 🤣

But on the whole it was like the logic we have been waiting for for two weeks, all in one episode! They had the police, Maan was smart enough to follow Geet AND take the police (I almost cried with joyful disbelief when they entered) and then they got a sketch artist to draw him and put it on TV!!! It's like someone was taking all our suggestions into consideration and biding their time and it actually looks like this track is planned from beginning to end which I am VERY happy about.

We basically wanted three things in this track, at this point:

1. A strong Geet:
Ok so she didn't beat him up like I wanted but she got a fair few pushes in and I liked her lashing out at him and calling him a dhokebaaz. She was speaking to him with courage but I guess couldn't stop her tears out of sheer terror of his unexpected (for her) and shocking behaviour. It looks like poor Geet really gave him the benefit of the doubt and as much as I want to fault her for it, I can't because it is so in character. Her first instinct has always to trust, in any situation. The IP MU with Maan happened after a lot of factors came together to make her doubtful, otherwise until the last straw, she was convincing herself that he couldn't have done anything wrong. Even with Dev, she refused to believe he had cheated her until it was proven beyond all doubt. I hope that she learns from this though and is not so blindly trusting in the future, when Vikram comes back, which he will.

2. An Intelligent Maan
He was so on top of things today it made me proud! Not only had he called the police but he has been keeping a closer eye on Geet than we suspected. ☺️ I guess it was hinted whenever he was giving her those penetrating stares when she was preoccupied with worry. He looked so beautiful in his white shirt all cold and angry that I nearly fainted with the effect of it all. I also loved how he was so cold and unafraid at the immolation video. It didn't bother him at all and his first thought was to calmly call and alert the police in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. I loved how Geet was contrasted to him. He was like the shore, standing still and calm to receive the crash of Geet's waves of emotion. (Sangath ka assar with Barry 😳😆).


3. Maaneet win a battle but the war rages on...
I guess it's clear that Maan and Geet have seen his face now but he has once again used that to his advantage as he will now either appear in disguise or maybe merely appear by proxy through his right hand, Adi's evil alter ego (I hope for the second). I LOVE how they used the justice system and the use of outside resources to try and catch the guy.

Vikas' performance was brilliant today. He behaved exactly as I expected he would in my analysis in the previous den. He was very disturbed and turned quite scary when Geet didn't behave the way he wanted her to. I also cringed (strong reactions are good!) at the scene where he sniffed her dupatta. And it was so funny because I made a face 😕 and then Geet made exactly the same face! My mom laughed at that coincidence for a good twenty seconds. 😳

I also loved the way he has even planned his escape from the go down and what looks like Plan B. It makes him scary that as smart and logical as Maan was today, he can predict his every move before it happens. I am very sure that the death was fake and merely meant to shake Geet up and maybe get her to feel the slightest sympathy while getting the police and Maan off his back for the time being. It will be nice to see a few lighter episodes before while he lies low before Plan B kicks into action.

I don't blame Maan for believing that he is dead. MSK is used to conquering his enemies and Vikram did a pretty convincing act. When Geet said "lekin" I REALLY wanted to know what she was going to say and wish Maan had listened so i could too. My mom thought it was just that someone had died because of her but I thought she may have had a sixth sense hunch that maybe Vikram wasn't gone. She is clearly still not convinced even in the hug.

I am not worried about the future and what terrible things Vikram WILL do for now. I will just bask in this Maaneet victory and hope he enters as a business client next because I am just dying to see the corporate face off! AND if it happens to lead to BR take two, I would not complain. 😉
