PART 66

Khurana automobiles got such a huge opening that no one could ever imagine. Bookings came from all over India. Maan and his team were working hard to meet all the orders. Maan was too particular that there should not be any compromise with quality due to this excess order. He personally checked each and every delivery. The shares of Khurana automobiles reached all time high. And now KA shares were much above than Dev's KC.

Meanwhile at Khurana mansion,

Dev : If we had left him, he would have been settled only with KC but see now he is growing like a mountain...hugee..

Ansh : Have patience..Dev. We will strike at the right time.

Dev : we better, kahi aisa na ho that he grows up so much that we cannot even reach him...striking to dur ki baat he.

Ansh : huh, dnt feel so low... U r with Ansh!!!

Maan's growth was unbelievable. He started many new industries and now was beyond the reach of Dev or Ansh. That also included GK resorts.. a chain of luxury resorts all over India in the name of Geet Khurana, with Geet as the CEO. Life was all fine and good. Little Maanvi also was busy with her school life...Things were all fine.

One fine day, Maan was returning home after a business tour when he heard Geet talking over the phone.

Geet : No..no no..no way Pinky.. I cant come at any cost. koi VVIP bhi ho...i cant be there tomorrow. Maan aj ayenge. He will be so tired and..upar se i cant leave Maanvi with him. U know her na, ghar ko sir pe uthayegi..Maan kaise handle karenge??..

Ufff...that wasn't just done. Geet may have voiced her concern but it hit Mr. Khurana's big fat ego...

Maan : kya hua Jaan?

Geet : wo..kuch nhe..we hav some VVIPs arriving at our Kovalam resort tomorrow. The management wants me to be there in person. Lekin Maanvi ko akele chod kar..how can i go??

Maan : Geet...tumhe phikar karne ki koi zarurat nhe he.. I will manage..

Geet : lekin Maan..

Maan : its ok jaan..after all work is work. VVIPs aa rhe he..u should be there to receive them otherwise it wont luk good aur me hu na yeha..i vl handle it..

Geet : lekin Maan...

Maan : Geee..t mene kaha na..tum jao.

Geet nodded unwillingly and started her packing. Maanvi was noticing her mumma. She watched as her dad helped her mumma reminding her the important things.

Maan : Geet, take these medicines with you incase u hav some headache. Aur ha keep some chocolates with u. Last time yaad he, u felt dizzy after the flight aur jaan..

Geet : Maan, its just one nite i'm stayin away. ap itna bhi tension mat lijiye.

Maan (held her closer with his arms around her waist.): kaise na lu? ek pal ke liye meri nazro se dur hoti ho, pata nhe kya ho jata he...dont u remember the last time when u went Malaysia for the promotion of our resort.

Geet : that was just an accident..

Maan : i really dont think so. It was planned. I saw Ansh's men there. They had something to do with the brake failure.

Geet : now u r just too.. James Bonding!!

Maan : dn know. Anyways i hv 2 bodyguards with Maanvi watching her from a distance. And you are also not goin alone.

Geet : Maan plsss...you know i dn like these..

Maan : Mishty...for my sake..

Geet : baat manana koi apsey seekhe.

They were about to kiss when little Maanvi intervened.

Maanvi : Mumma..trip par ja rhe he?

Maan : ha mera shona..

Maanvi : me bhi jaungi!!!

Geet : lekin mumma to office jayegi, phir princess akeli ho jayegi na?

Maanvi nodded eagerly.

Geet : is liye ap papa ke sath ruko..

Maanvi : par papa bhi office jayenge na..

Maan (took her in his arms) : no..jab tak mumma nhe ati papa apkey sath he.

They both hi-fived. Geet was in no mood to leave but Maan made her go. Both papa-Maanvi went to drop her at the airport.

Ansh was watching the happy family from a distance. And behind him stood Abhay.

Abhay : This is the right time to strike. Maan wont be paying much attention to his work for the next 24 hrs. and thats when we have to act.

Dev : I hope it works this time.

Abhay and Ansh glared at Dev and gave an evil smile.

Abhay : so...the party begins now...
