This is what makes Maaneet so special. Their love is so powerful that one look, one touch or one telepathic conversation can give each of them so much strength to face any odds.
I also liked that nothing was about ego today with Maaneet. Geet didn't want to break Maan's bharosa and Maan in turn didn't want to come in the way of what he saw as Geet's right to handle the situation if she could. All he provides is his undying support and lots of love for ballast!
It actually felt like a role reversal of the BR track where Geet read Maan's mind about him not getting the project and put all his fears to rest. That is my favourite episode of the entire show because it showed the culmination of everything Maaneet had been through in a moment of complete clarity where each had let the other in completely, no holds barred.
Today's Maan + the telepathy showed that clarity I love to see in their relationship once again.
"Geet ke bina Maan adhura hain. Aur Maan ke bina Geet adhuri hain"
Never a truer word spoken! 😳
@Jyoti: SO true! We don't just want Mahiii all the time. We want a gripping story and to see the characters deal with real problems of the real world, maybe in a slightly dramatised way but still. Getting lost in their own domestic quagmire was poison for the show and the UL is a refreshing yank back into the real world!
I also love seeing the maturity of Maan and Geet's relationship brought out during times of trouble with each defending the other and trying their best to protect each other from getting hurt. It's not eyelocks or mahi but I love seeing it because it makes the eyelocks and mahis so much more meaningful when they do come.
ADDED: From the precap it looks like they are bringing some seriousness to Lucky's character, when he confesses that he called the UL. I am still wondering if he called or he is just turning himself in to reduce the drama with the police...
The flashes we have had of serious Lucky have been brilliant, with his inferiority complex when Beeji was insulting him and saying Preeto shouldn't ruin her life by marrying him or when he was comforting Geet in the car and praying with her at the Gurudwara after Maan's escape from Pammi. I hope they develop more of the dumb humour being a defense mechanism to cover up his inferiority complex, like they have before.
