As i already said above, i really wanted to see a proper repentance track for Dev, which would have made it easier for us to forgive him, and also forgive Geet for forgiving him. But the CVs have scrapped the hoshiyarpur incidents altogether which actually gives me doubt who has amnesia-- maan or the cvs?

So i am sharing with u ppl a random idea that developed in my little head, do tell me how it is?

I want Nandini and Maan(if he hasn't still got his memory back, that is) everyone else to know of Geet's past and Dev's connection with that... For that i think it would be nice to bring in a new entry- an innocent Punjabi girl who was duped the same way as Geet. This girl meets Maan and Geet somehow- maybe they save her from some goons who were trying to kill her- and they bring her to the KM. There, she narrates her story to them in presence of everyone including Dev and Nandini. Geet is very much moved by the girl's fate, and is reminded of her own past and decides to help the girl and similar unfortunate girls by starting an NGO or something. Maan and Dadima and others support her in this. Dev is reminded of his sins and starts feeling guilty again, and starts acting odd- like distancing himself from Nandini thinking he doesn't deserve to have a good life. Maybe he starts taking drinks and is in the path of self destruction. Nandini and Maan and all others notice the change in Dev's behaviour and wonders what happened while only Geet knows the reason.

Then they can show Maan and Nandini each independently trying to find out what happened to Dev, while Geet is in a dilemma as to whether tell them about it or not... And finally she decides to tell the truth to them. And they can show maan battling with his emotions- his temptation to punish Dev for hurting Geet, and his pain at seeing his brother's state. Nandini's dilemma- her love for Dev contrasting with her hate for the person who hurt her sister.

Then maybe Geet can help them understand that Dev is actually repenting and they finally together decide to bring Dev out of his self-destruction path. And they succeed in it, and Dev overcomes his guilt, and starts helping Geet in running the NGO thereby redeeming his wrongs.

And then they can show Vicky's entry, which will throw some light into Maan's past, sameera and all... Geet's feeling of hurt on not having been told of Maan's past before, but then she overcomes it thinking past is past, and there is no use thinking about it.

The reason for Vicky's exile, Vicky seeking Maan's forgiveness, Maan's happiness in getting back his younger brother, Geet and Vicky bhabhi-devar relationship.

And they can even have little romance track involving Vicky and the girl who geet saved from the goons...

And then maybe Geet completing her education privately while also managing the NGO. Maaneet becoming parents...

So many things to show... the cvs just have to give some time to think through the story properly, i am sure they can still revive the show to its former glory.
