Maybe he bought it afterwards
I thought it was very sweet, it signifies that Maan has once again accepted Geet whole heartedly
therefore he gave a new mangulsutra ready so they start their life afresh
Im wondering too where he got it from, maybe he was feeling like that for Geet for a long time, the separation gave him the confidence to accept her
