While doing intimate scenes the actor is asked to make his touch slow and hesitant to make it look like a caress especially when touching for the first time. During SR it was the first touch and also in Ydays dance it is the first touch for maan since he has forgotten his past. It is definitely not becoz he is uncomfortable.

Hmm.. I understand what you're saying.. and it makes sense. Quite possible. But it makes sense only in yesterday's dance. That yes, Maan was hesitant as he doesn't really remember Geet. But that doesn't go for the first night.. they've had some intimate moments before (Roop tera and pee loon). And it's not just the slow touch.. it's hard to explain.. but just the way he held her made me think so. But of course, I can be quite wrong.

In yesterday episode and during maang scenes...he was supposed to touch geet in gentle way..thats why it might looked as hesitation which actually is not...

If he was hesitant..then by now...he would have avoided all romantic scenes...

and one more thing..by hesitation in romantic scenes means ...not doing justice as actor...and GC is an outstanding professional actor...

You are totally misinterpreting my post. First off, there's a huge difference in intimate and romantic scenes. And Maaneet wouldn't be such a romantic and beautiful couple if GC wasn't comfortable with that. Just in a couple scenes, it seemed to me that he was a bit hesitant.. I just mentioned what I felt. And NO, not being comfortable doing romantic scenes doesn't imply being a gentleman.. if you read my entire post, you'll know what I meant by that.

And I never implied that GC is unprofessional. SRK refuses to kiss any lady on screen, does that make him unprofessional?! Seriously.

Usually, the director asks them to enact and keep a particular body-language during the scenes and the actors follow his instructions.

I have NO doubts about GC's acting ability. I've said it a million times and will continue to say it that this guy can melt hearts in a second. He's got the MOST expressive eyes, and you don't give a single dialogue to him and he'll express his character way better than a million other actors can do in a billion words. I was just stating a small observation and clearly admitted that I could be wrong. This is not such a serious issue to be made of.

Even before ML happened...Gurti did the cutest and most intimate scenes in the new house they went too...some very close husband and wife talks...touches...and behaviors...

watch the june 24th 2011 episode itself and "calculate" how he touched her waist...how can we even THINK to say that GC IS uncomfortable?

That dance that unknown feeling...that thinking twice about touching her feeling was ALL maan...NOT GC!

in the dance yesterday.u saw The Maan who is fighting with himself.and his body language was perfect

at the start of dance...they are with diff couples but maaneet eye lock...when Geet comes to Maan.she just stands there.. confused if he would like to dance with her...Maan see this confusion...and slightly he takes her hand an place it on his shoulder...then when his hands move to her waist.he is being hesitant...becuz...for him it's his first time touching her at a sensuous place with his consent after ML.and he was confused if he was in his limits and not giving her false impression..he was total in character

As I said, it was a slight observation.. I could clearly be wrong but I completely understand the point you and many others raised.. That was Maan, not GC.

I seriously did not foresee that this small post where I absolutely don't mean to say anything against GC, anything at all, would be taken like this. I love and respect GC ever since I've been watch Geet and the respect only increases daily.

It was just a little disappointing to see a simply post taken in so many wrong angles. But no need to apologize, I'm not hurt.. just a bit sad. :)

Let me make this clear, this post wasn't intended to be even 0.0000001% against GC. I love and respect this guy too much to even think about that. I just posted about what it seemed to be. But I totally understand you all mean.. it was the demand for the character, Maan, not GC... And I appreciate that you shared your opinions with me like that.

But I am just a bit disappointed how some of you just totally misunderstood what I meant.. But again, I'm not blaming anyone for that.. It could've been the way I said something that made you think like that.

Anyway, my bad.. and I'm sorry if something I said hurt anyone. I'm a true GC fan and didn't mean anything such to be intended.
