Well, let's not pre-judge Geet here that she will still continue to force MSK to accept their relationship. In the flashbacks she had, one of the dialogues that she remembered was MSK telling her that if she thought about what he said about being unable to accept their relationship with a cool mind and that she would identify (well, that's the literal translation of pehchaan ... I guess that should translate as "understand") him.

She has had a lot of time for introspection.

But, she is in a position where she has kept a fast for MSK and their marriage, a fast after a night when he, in his sleep, he called out to her and told her not to leave him. So, it is but right on her part to insist that this ritual be completed.

But, once that is completed, she ideally should and will, in all likelihood, call a truce and not force MSK again to accept their relationship. She will back off. Why am I inclined to think this? Well, in the promo, when Naintara questions Geet about her status as the daughter-in-law of the Khurana family, she does not say anything in her own defence. Any defence, any assertion that she is indeed MSK's wife will not be mouthed by her. It will have to be MSK who will have to take that first step into accepting their relationship. Yet, that would be the battle won, not the war. I only hope that once Geet realises how this has yielded fruit, she continues with the same stand.
