Geet on DVD - Fans Demand
Do you want Geet on DVD? We support the petition
'Of the people, by the people, for the people' you got me right, that is the definition of democracy given by US President Abraham Lincoln in 1873. Shall I call Telly Tadka ' of the fans, by the fans, for the fans? Well well we are what we are because of the fan groups and will always be there to help the fan groups. That said we at Telly Tadka are today supporting a petition made by a group of fans residing outside India.
Some daily soaps become popular on television and earn TRPs while some earn the adulation for the fans. One such soap which has a huge fan following across the globe is Geet Hui Sabse Parayi on Star One. The fans have spent a huge amount of download time on downloading and viewing the old episodes on youtube or star player and are now demanding a release of the DVD of the soap. A petition is currently being run by fans from places like UK, USA, Holland, requesting the DVD of Geet. Interestingly, till date only mythological series like Ramayan and Mahabharat have been released on DVD. Petitioners believe that the DVD will not only make the fans happy but will also financially benefit the production house and the channel. They have also made a fan page on Facebook and are running a campaign on twitter.
Telly Tadka lends it support to the petition for DVD of Geet Hui Sabse Parayi.
