7/6/11 Symbolism between KCM nd Maaneet's new home

Come on Maaneetians, u want our number one spot back...keep the forum active...here is my contribution for the spot...some bang on symbolisms...do comment and add ur symbolisms as well.

i agree with u...the khurana mansion looks so lifeless n its always dark...the new maaneet home is just so simple n nice it brings positivity around

Shivi...I wrote something similar to this earlier in the week...

symbolic CONTRAST between the Pammi/Dev's home, the
Khurana House vs. Maaneet's new house, The AMARNATH haven.

The Khurana house has changed...the look is much more modern/bourgeois now...
whereas when daadi and maaneet were living there - it was very classy, with refined a traditional look. I think this signifies the difference between WEALTH gained thru hard work (old Money) vs. WEALTH gained via an Easy, often illegal measures...(new money).

In the scene where Dev, Nano, and Lucky enter the Khuranan house, we see the Mirror on the bureau is shown to be reflecting the "IMAGE" of colors...a harmonious blend of different colors coexisting in one plane..signifying that What you see is not the reality, and that its not all HUNKY DORY among the inhabitants of this house.

We can also see the Candle with Stand in the far right corner - Why is its shadow so prominent... and it shadow too BIG?? Is this implying that APPEARANCE of the AURA is BIGGER than the REALITY? Pammi may present a big presence...but essentially at the end of the day she is of little standing...in her own words a mere AAYA...simply a caretaker.

Then we are taken to Maaneet's new house, it very quaint, well built, well covered by the trees.
Even the trees act to provide shelter from the Sun...a haven within a haven?

There are Columns all around the house not just on the portico...again signifying its STRENGTH is REAL, and VISIBLE not merely a REFLECTION or an AURA.

If you remember the episode where Maaneet are designing the DeMello's DREAM LOVE house,
they themselves said that they felt the most important attribute in a home is its NIEVE, its foundation or its support system. The AMARNATH Haven has columns that stand UPRIGHT all the time...similar to a foundation as they also are bearing weight and providing support.

This house is very SYMMETRICAL in its construction, signifying a lot of equality in the relationship of those who live here...they have mutual love...mutual caring...mutual standing - mutual rutba.

Then as Maaneet unlock the door to their new home...As Maan pushes open the door to the new house... a metal vase, a KALASH or sorts is on the floor and the action of opening the door makes the kalash roll...signifying their GHAR PRAVESH...an auspicious entry and an auspicious beginning of their new life.

Looking forward to tomorrow...wow I never thought I would say that about this show again!!😉

KC Mansion/Constructions

The house Pammi wants for her son is full of tensions...there is no love but just stress and stress...along with lies...and only lies...

Its always said that those who do no good; their evilness doesnt leave them; however saint like figure they become! Its so true that the Khurana mansion is just a home now; not house. Sirf Maakan bankar rah gaya hai.

the house is huge...BUT even sooo being huge it is sooo empty...lifeless

Just as that, the Khurana constructions as well is empty...lifeless because the real owner who worked hard...created the empire is no longer there...it's status is only popular because of the "Khurana" name associated with it...there is no Dev Khurana...no one even knows him...everyone only knows of Maan Singh Khurana...

When the real owners were thrown out of the house, they took away the life...love...peace...and that feelin of being always around others...with them...leaving nothing but a building standing alone...withh fake people.

Maaneet are the ones who are happy despite any hurdles that life throws at them! Because they have earned the status and the name! They didnt snatch it away! Its always said that: "Jo Virasat Main Milta Hai Uska Gurroor Hota Hai; Par Jo Kamaya Hai Uska Abhimaan Hota Hai. "

Thats aptly fitting for Maaneet now; they have been shattered; thrown out; but they will win everything! Coz they have the love; peace; each others' presence!

Fake "pammi" she is fake...she thinks she owns the place...she has right over it...but she doesn't realize it is never hers...u do not make something urs by snatching it away...you make something urs with love and care...

Her son, loves dadimaa and his brother because they love him care for him...had he received the same from his mother...he would have been a better man...and he would have not ruined geet's life. Pammi not only knows only to snatch...but also taught her son to do the same...he snatched away happiness from geet...her money...land...and her most prized possession...her innocence "virginity"

This is why they say, do not take something that doesn't belong to you...even if you take it in ur hands by snatching it...it never fully even then becomes urs.

The HOUSE where KC began

The owners took life there...Maaneet took their love...life...nature laughter...and that being of "full" with them.

Hence even though there only the two of them in that house...there is happiness...the laughter of children in that house...it is small...and yet big enough to fit anyone and everyone who knows what loves it...

Maan took his hard work with him...his confidence..which he holds within himself when he sees his wife.😳

Geet felt at peace when she reached that house...maan was with her...love was with her...good was with her...that house was created with love and care...

with that same affection maaneet fixed it up...and the house gave them the same in return

Maaneet didn't snatch anything...they happily gave it away with respect...and with that same respect they will get what belongs to them.

Pammi dethroned Maaneet from their castle...takin away their respect...where as no matter where they go they will be respected. Geet respected as a teacher...maan respected and thought as to be intelligent...that cute boy hari's mother...looked upto maaneet...saw light in them...so HA PARMINDER SHARAM NAHIN INDER...

U can see the effects of the symbolism even now...Pammi couldn't make KC hers...and now she wants to sell it...so she can start off something else...even that won't work...cause the money she gets from the selling of the company doesn't belong to her either...

Pammmi the ugly hearted mummi...doesn't realize that glass around her...that image of believing that she is a khurana..is just her imagination...BUT in real...she needs to see through that glass...or i can go break it for her...cause she never tried to become a khurana...the right way...hence why dadi never accepted her...she did it wrong then...just like how she is doing wrong now...and sooner or later it will bite her in the ass sooo bad...that it will become poisonus🤣
