it is...i was actually researching this...and there are blogs where people talk about their own loved ones...who they had to take off life support...and it just broke my heart...loved it...i know it is always a very tough decision for a loved one to make on behalf of their spouse or a family member...it can be debated on both the sides...dont know which is correct...to keep them on machines or just let them go and not let them be on machines...i guess if it were me then i would not want to be on machines too like geet, especially if the chances of survival of slim to none...
