Friends no doubt show shaayad band ho jayae ;(. Agar wo noubat ayee to hamre khayal sae, mahi mahi karte rahe dono , kabhi kabhi lagta hai dono bore ho gaye hain.
Lekin agar dekha jae -- this show is watched by all age groups, it has already addressed socail issues
  • struggle of a girl coming from village -equiv to small town adjusting to metro life style with dignity,
  • facing sister-in-law who is western in thoughts,
  • struggle of unmarried girl in society,
  • it showed how with open arm Dadi excepted her ,even decided to be from girls side to do kanya dan, how dadi tackles neighbors during show tell of new bahu, (lot of married girls can relate to that scene) :-)
  • Of course with help and support of her husband (unreal character Maan)
All this was conveying msg to the society, to broaden ones outlook for real. To think about some change in inner thoughts not just outer appearance.

the show survived all those topics and thoughts.

Sorry don't mean to preach, but we can have our good writer Barry use our brilliant actors to convey msg beautifully.

nothing except filing law suit against that evil guy would have happened in real world, remeber they already knew each other so no sexual harassment case, and i don't think girls file that sexual harassment against friends unless of course they are in for a bigger share like it happens in west. , in that case that issue should be highlighted and fought..

Shrads, no wonder Barry is single at 40!😆 All his romantic lines would go bouncer off the head with chaand, taare and suraj talks! 😆Dont get me wrong, I love his lines but it should suit the character also! 😕

I was expecting to break into- Chanda hai tu, mera suraj hai tu, O meri aankhon ka taara hai tu 🤣

I know- first they spent like 6 months drilling into us that Maan is a man of few words and here he is waxing eloquent about love, celestial bodies and such like. I mean W*F!

Oh Chand sitare... bulbul tare! I was thinking the same thing when i heard those chand tare suraaj phul wala dialogue... 😆 And add this... screw the editorw who add those ORANGE balls in the name of bubls in the scene... It started from th"Mein agar kahun" sequence... adn its still haunting the editors! Whats it with this orange bulb obsession that every close shot has them all over the screen covering the lead's faces! 😡
OH phulese Geet needs wardrobe chagne urgently... this anarkali and dupatta all over is making me sweat just by seeing it... Hope the new dress that Lucky's girlfriend stitched for geet works better...
But end of day, Maneet stole the show... it was truely magical...esp the jump hug..😍

😊 They were the best lines ever written in the history of any show. What fun to watch dialogues trying hard to sound flowery but failing miserably. The first line did not connect with the second, and the second stared at the third like a stranger. Looked more like the portfolio of the writer, and less like the words of the character.

Shradha, give them a break. This is called closing the loop, don't you know?

Didn't we always wonder about the conversations Maan used to have so frequently with the Moon? Now, we know what they used to talk about. He used to ask the moon about the moonlight. And the moon used to talk back to him about Geet.

Now, we have been yearning for Geet to explain her point of view. When Maan said that he knows what she wants to say before she says it, down the drain went my hopes of finding out what made her pack her bag and flee.

But, then I thought to my self, if after such a long wait, the conversation between Maan and the Moon was revealed to us, someday in the distant future, we will also be informed of this unvoiced conversation between Maan and Geet.

So, until then, be prepared to see them play to Engelbert Humperdinck's
It's only me and you, under the man in the moon,
Counting stars up above and falling in love like we're meant to do.

PS: Well, it's easy to write a dialogue without using the words -- chaand, suraj and taare. They just have to use -- moon, sun and stars. For aesthetic and auditory reasons, I would prefer the former.

The GHSP reunion we had waited for! Photo edit.

After being disappointed at Abhinav reception, never thought we'd get to see this... Thanks to Debina for posting the original photo. It's good...
