Geet told MSK about Dev to test his reaction and see if it still affects him..and it does since he puts his hand down from her shoulder....so MSK ka gunaah is indirectly justified through actions 😊

The problem here is Geet can feel that MSK somewhere is still insecure about her past history with Dev...Geetr know MSK still loves her a lot but being a human he does feel insecure when he senses that he was not the first man in her life but that position was taken by his own brother; He has accepted Geet's past and he is also fine with Dev now but its normal for any husband to hv this sort of insecurity and only a husband-wife together can come out of this phase if they can communicate and sort out this issue both through words as well as action😳...

Rest of the episode was very good today with smooth flow👍🏼..the car scene in the start was top notch...the way MSK drank water and she saw his lips...perfect display of desire there😉😳...

Pammi-Geet talk was aweosme...Some good and sensible dialogues given to Pammi 👍🏼..

Geet taking lep for MSK and then MSK telling her that she will hv to apply it on his back was hottt and reminds u of the RTM sequence where MSK says "Pehen lo warna pehna doong"😉😛 and today he says "Laga do"😈😳...GC was too good with his bedroom expressions and even DD was too good trying to control her emotions and desire😳

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a reply in this forum as I'm not a member, nevertheless, every eveining, after every episode, I've read and enjoyed all the wonderful analyses and posts that you all have put up. As ever today's analyses are great and I like Joyit06, felt the import of M's response to Geet's mention of Dev (I'm so glad she did it, though- seems the CVs have learnt!).

Based our experiences with the show in the last few months, I'm beginning to wonder if this scene is a hint of the next MU coming round the corner, epecially in the context of the appearance of someone, probably Dev, as Maan? Or am I being too cynical?
But as a lot of you have pointed out a proper conversation between M and G is becoming an urgent imperative, but given the lack of coherent storyline, I'm wondering if this insecurity with Dev might not be used as another ploy to postpone this conversation further in order to drag the show?

@Eva:Aree haan who can forget that famous dialogue of this whole series where MSK says "mujhe laga ki tum sirf meri ho"...that itself shows MSK ka insecurity...Insecurity normally comes from obsession or when u r way too possessive about your lover or wife....Geet knows that MSK is very possessive about her and she enjoys it too which we saw in the tailor scene😳 but during holi the same possessiveness took the shape of insecurity and thats what was hurtful for Geet ....whenever she felt that her past is affecting MSK ,she always tried to go away from MSK's life.....in the past she left for station when MSK gave that "mujhe laga tum sirf meri ho" dialgoue,...then she again left on engagement day when she found out that Dev is MSK's brother and MSK told her about how after Dadi its Dev who holds most importance in his life...and then she left during the IP track as well when she thought that MSK is sacrificing his family ka reputation for her past...So somewhere MSK on that holi day once again forced Geet to make her feel that her past is still haunting his mind

I think Maan has almost come out of his dislike and hatred toward Dev as human being but Maan has to overcome his insecurities reagarding Dev's any influence on Geet..

I think the main reason for his volcanic anger was that a person like Dev was able to influence his Geet who knows his standard so well and also that he felt Geet so gullible to fall for Dev's charm again...

As if you recall the episode where... Maan paid some money to bring Dev back to India.. that time dadima said Dev is always a charmer. a sweet talker...

Where as with Maan did not know how to deal with any lady... not even his dadima...

@SV - I agree when you say possessiveness is a kind of insecurity. Insecurity of the position of the said person in one's life.

@Priti - MSK has always been possessive when it comes to Geet. But would you call it insecurity, old demons hiding in his closet, or plain possessiveness depends on the situation. I agree when MSK and Geet had not confessed their love to each other, more than insecurity it was him not knowing whether she belongs to him or not. The tailor scene before the wedding can also be looked at as him wanting to get close to his future wife.

But with respect to Dev, MSK has always been a bit insecure. Not Dev as Dev, but with respect to the unknown person who had been a part of Geet's life. A person whom Geet had loved unconditionally and had become one with mind, body and soul atleast from her side. When he was ready to make her confess that she desires him, Geet tells him that she was pregnant. The reaction of MSK that day was because she already belonged to somebody else. He understood her situation, fell in love with her and was ready to face the future with her. And what he gets to know at that moment was that the guy was none other than his own brother. If it was any other person who wouldn't be around them day in and day out, MSK would not have minded so much. But this person is as much a part of their everyday lives.

And he has seen how Dev made Geet better after the MC. Being human, I am sure he would have wondered if Geet would have even looked at him if her marriage with Dev was fine. Seeing how Dev is working towards making Geet understand MSK, maybe he feels that Geet might find Dev to be a better person that him. If that is not insecurity, what is?? And today when she entered into his room and started talking abt Dev, maybe he felt that she was listening to Dev again.

When MSK asked Geet 'What jadoo did this guy do to you that you forgave him' he was not questioning her fidelity or her character. He was questioning her ability to identify people. Remember this was the girl who was ready to go to Canada to meet this guy and punish him, and she had forgiven him. So MSK was insecure that maybe Dev had used his charms on convincing Geet to forgive him. MSK knows that he is a tough person to live with. If Dev can understand Geet, if Dev can make her smile after a tragedy, if Dev can behave in such a way that Geet can forget all what happened in the past and forgive him, wouldn't a guy like MSK who is a perfectionist in all that he does wonder what Dev is doing better and what he is not??
