i loved pammi from the first episode when she asked the most intelligent questions like geet, what happened to your baby. It was actually a relevant question.

and this actress has depicted sadness in her eyes right from that first episode. You actually want to go into the screen and wipe her sadness away.

another fab character is lacchi who is independent and not tied up with middle class morality.

@Priti: I can see where you are coming from and what you say does make sense to me...but I disagree that Maan has never been insecure. I think Maan has often shown his insecurity- knowingly or unknowingly.

During the red saree scene, when he asks her why she rejected his advances and whether she did not think he was good enough for her?
His possessiveness- which we have seen in action aplenty- is that not a sign of his insecurity?
Continued reference to his name, his bloodline- over compensating, methinks!

There are some deep, dark shadows in his past- hopefully one fine day someone will shed light on them!

Shradha, I don;t know if I was clear in my initial post. When I talk about Maan's insecurities, I mean only about his relationship with Geet, not in life in general. I almost hope he has a lot of skeletons in his closet which we will get to see someday. But when it comes to Maaneet, he has no insecurities.

The points that you mentioned are debatable. See, in the red saree sequence, she had never confessed her love for him. He had never accepted it to her himself. It was a very nascent stage in their relationship. Insecurity at that stage is natural. But now, they have come such a long way from there. Does he feel the same way even now, I certainly don;t think so.

And being possessive about her does not mean he is insecure. He might not even want her spending time with daadi as opposed to spending time with him. How is that insecurity? He just wants her to himself all the time and not want to share her with anyone in general 😛
