Geet and Odhani are one year old | ||
Dhanashri Kulkarni/Hill Road Media Do you enjoy playing the angry Maan or the romantic Maan? Why? I love the angry Maan because the way that character was written was fabulous. The role also increased the curiosity of the audiences. They were keen to know how would Maan Singh Khurana behave when he becomes romantic. We moulded Maan in a manner that had both elements of romance and anger. Do share some memories of your first day at the shoot'. I can never forget that the first day of the shoot of Geet was on my birthday. It is a mystery how, but both my shows - Ramayan and Geet - are connected. In Ramayan, my last scene was of Ram going into the water, while my first scene in Geet was Maan coming out of the water. These are some memories I will never forget. Your fans have named you and Geet as Maneet and Gurti. What's your take on it? I have no words to express gratitude for these gestures. It's very cute of our fans to coin these names for us. Some people call me Guru too. A few days ago, when our entire nation was rejoicing the victory of the World Cup, I too went out on the streets with my friends in our car. I went to a petrol pump and saw people shouting 'India, India!' The moment they saw me, the girls began shouting 'Maan, Maan!' I was completely taken aback. |
