i fail to understand how i can maintain positivity with geet....being a girl it is suffocating for me to watch her allowing her rapist touch her....and not only so...she puts tika on him....
it is easy to curse dev for touching her....but i cant blame him...he is a rapist, he is a womanizer...so obviously he cant keep his hands off girls....
and if geet forgives him, smiles at him, acts normal with him....then obviously dev will touch her with any excuse...this time holi is the excuse....tmrw god knows wat....
i dont expect dev to understand that he has no right to touch geet even though she has forgiven him....
but from geet i did not expect this....even if i overlook that she has forgiven dev (i cannot, but i just gv as an instance)...but still i can never forgive her for letting dev touch her....
dev once slept with her by making her feel that he is her hubby...which was totally a false...he violated not only her body....but her soul, her trust, her innocence....and today geet forgives him and even lets him touch her....i thot for geet....dev's hands wud be like something evil stuff....i thot a touch from dev wud make her feel dirty and violated....
yes....my hatred for dev goes deeper than u ppl can comprehend...and for that reason i abhor wat geet is doing....
of course i watch GHSP for maneet...not for geet alone or maan alone....not only this show....but in every romantic show....i watch for the jodi more than for the individual actor...
but this time....i cannot forgive geet....i can pretend to be neutral and continue posting my takes....but i dont want to be fake....
yes....i promised myself that i wont bash geet....but that time the precap that i saw was that dev was about to touch geet...he did not actually touch her....so i had this feeling that geet wont actually let him touch her....
but now, after seeing that geet not only lets dev touch her...but she in return puts tika on him....i lost my nerves....
i agree even the hardest criminal can be given another chance....but for that the criminal has to earn it....wat has dev done to earn geet's forgiveness....
geet forgiving dev cud hv been justified if dev wud hv truly repented...
did they show anything as such...
it is not as if dev is working in NGOs to help other women who r victims of rape, it is not as if he is trying hard to find evidence against himself and NT to get themselves punished....i mean so far it was never shown that dev has done anything to gain forgiveness from geet whose life was totally destroyed in just one day....
i just wish the CVs cud hv given us a convincing story on how dev has deeply repented....only then geet's forgiveness cud be justified....
but even then i cant justify her letting dev touch touch her....
and as for geet's reason that she wants to move on in her life....i appreciate this...but my question is...she has spent such a long time with maan...she fell in love with him...she said ILU to him, she married him, if not for the baby then she and maan wud hv consummated their marriage....
were all these only half-hearted gestures of geet...were all these time geet was attached to her past....
moving on doesnt mean that one has to forgive a criminal....geet cud hv said him to stay away from her and maan's life...geet cud hv ignored him all her life...y shud she care if dev burns in guilt...
it is as if geet is forgiving dev because she wants to relieve herself from being the reason of dev's feeling of guilt....plz CVs remind me who raped whom....
i know at the end of the day it is the CV's doing....but if we can love a character which is also CV's credit...then we can also express our anger on a character too....
