Maan's eyes devoid of dreams, of sleep made Geet's eyes fill up & wash away sleep from them.

The deafening silence hanging in between them made it impossible for them to sleep in peace.Maan felt himself helpless now at not being able to keep her dark haunting past away from her; Geet was wide awake helpless at not being able to assure him that with him at guard her past can never reach her.

Its not her past that she fears but the next moment - moment of truth , how much it will kill Maan when the truth will be out in open of Dev being the blood donor.

Both helpless & angry at self not eachother, both sorry at their own fate not at the other voice their feelings to eachother through a letter.

A Letter for Maan from his Geet that reads to him how 'Sorry' she is for not having kept his word, she knows though its she who caused his anger, but his anger is directed at his own self & she is sorry more for that. Like he hates to mention even Dev's name in Geet's presence , she mirrors his feelings now.

He replies to her continuing their plight on the same piece of paper that now is witness to his heart wrenching cry of pain, her pain that he feels deep within his soul.

Fearing not of his anger but his pain she waits to hear him speak , but he remains quite not meeting her eyes that are pleading him to read them as he has always done. He does look at her when he learns that since she woke up she is trying to reach to him through her small gestures asking for his forgiveness.

He smiles , a smile that does not reach his eyes, his eyes that now having met her glaze reads in them dark sorrow & that chokes his own heart that refuses to smile. He walks away unable to lie to her, be it even a small smile.

His small heated conversation with his associate reminds Geet yet again how much he values truth & honesty.
A man to whom love is but truth & trust, she fears that she broke his trust by keeping the truth away from him, truth that he needs to know from her. Only.

Her heart immediately jumps to surrender to him, to tell him the truth & end its own misery in fear of hurting him even more than the truth will eventually do.
But her mind runs out of words to frame it all so sudden & she lets the moment pass.

Reaching their small abode, their room she finds the reply that she was trying to read in his eyes.
He has answered her , how can he not when he knows she will be restless until she hears him.

The small piece of paper that now carried his voice , his emotions make her cry at her fate that along with all the dark miseries has brought to her the bright sun, her Maan whose love so strong & intense always makes her heart swell in pride at having him as hers for forever.

That small piece of paper now reads to her the need to reach out to him & sooth him of the pain that has engulfed his heart.

The small piece of paper now decides for her that truth has to be told & now she knows she wont let anyone, or anything creep in between them.
No truth or pain can hurt him when she is there to hold him to her, till he has her by his side.

The small piece of parchment now sings of their battle won against all odds that destiny had tried to bring in between them.

Just the thought of you in my mind
The strength I need to go on I find
