Maan stormed into Khurana Corporations deliberately thudding heavily to make his presence felt. Among the baffled employees, Sasha was the solitary one who knew what was stirring. She knew he was going to fire her, he definitely was...
Maan scanned the puzzled faces of his useless employees and finally finding the guilty one hidden behind her crony. "You're fired!" he roared pointing straight at in her direction only to be confused by the wailing Tasha who fell to his feet.
"No MK! Please..." she implored pulling at his business trousers as he shook her away irately, his eyes glued to the shaken Sasha. Instantly, he walked up to her grabbing her by her forearm, squeezing her skin stiffly leaving red marks evident.
"How dare you give me wrong information?" he barked furiously snatching the file away from her hands. 'All because of this s**t, I had made my way to Shimla in search for Geet! Turns out, the address was wrong and a factory construction had been going on!" he thought bitterly mentally kicking himself for blindly following biased information from a pathetic bitch.
"M -- S..sir," she didn't think it was the right time to address him as MK. He would go bonkers and murder her if he sensed she reacted as if nothing had happened. "I couldn't track her down and I - I put-the-fake-information-in-the-file-so-that-I-won't-get-fired," she breathed out gasping for breath, hot tears brimming the back of her eyes.
Maan paused for a second before giving his final announcement. "Well now you are! Security, throw her out and make sure she gets no job anywhere in India!" The loud wailing and moaning of Sasha subsided as the guards dragged her out off her feet.
Silence fell in the building until "Hehehehehe!" laughed Adi moronically before getting a hard glare from Maan who was up for no laughter or jokes. His useless employees were good for nothing and he had wasted three whole days in going to Shimla and coming back. Well he was up for none of this nonsense any more.
"I want Geet's real address in 24 hours or all of you will be on streets!" declared Maan stomping to his cabin and adding on the way. "Get to work!" calling off the announcements and the employees resumed in obtaining Geet's address.

Geet looked up at the shining golden temple in the hot sun, making the temple look even more holier and pure. The hard glisten which shone back at her reminded of when she had arrived in Amritsar for the first time with Maan. Although at that time, she was eager to get home worried if Brij Veerji had found out.
She pondered what he would be doing, caring about her, thinking about her and cherishing the memories they had spent together. Although when she had left Amritsar, she had never thought that she would ever end back in here.
"I hate you, Geet," Maan had yelled venting his anger out with the flowing of tears. She didn't even know why he had turned his back on her. It was a normal day and her usual bickering was on but he had called her in his cabin and terminated her. The only reason he gave her was "I hate you, Geet."
Her hand ran over her abdomen feeling the flatness and emptiness which had taken over her after the miscarriage. Maan had left her and she couldn't convince herself. Before she knew, she was on the hospital bed surrounding by the nurse and doctor.
"Madam, please lie down," said the nurse pushing her back on the bed. She could still feel the pain in the stomach, she had felt that day. "Madam, you've had a miscarriage..." The words had broken her world apart and she didn't know who to blame. Maan or herself?

"Hehehehehe!" giggled Adi startling Tasha who angrily pushed him away. "Ta - Tasha. This is the address and now I will get a promotion!"
"Promotion? And you? Pffft," she remarked rudely turning back to the computer screen. "We need to confirm this or else, MK will also fire us..." She picked up the receiver and dialled the number biting on her lower lip. 'Please let this be right! Please, Bhagwaan!' she implored silently before someone spoke from the other end.
"Can I speak to Geet Handa?" she asked uncertainly before grinning at the man's' words. "Okay! When she returns, I will call her then. Thank you!"
"So it's the right address?" Adi asked cheerfully running into Maan's cabin chased by Tasha who was tugging at the paper. "Leave it!" he moaned shielding it under his arm.
"What's going on?" the harsh voice roared stopping the two immediately. "Grow up, both of you! And knock before you enter!"
"Sir - look at this, Geet's address..." said Adi holding the paper to him as he snatched it like a hungry dog. But his expressions fumed at the thought of another mistake. "Are you sure it's right?" and the two nodded leaving way for Maan to exit finally breathing a sigh of relief.
