Geet, my only point is that they should stop playing up to the audience. The entire pregnancy/baby issue has been treated quite callously by them. They unnecessarily ran a poll in FB asking viewers what they think about the baby track. They have never asked such questions about any other track. So my question to the CVs is ' Did you not foresee all the problems associated with shooting with a baby? Then why raise this issue at all if you wanted to get rid of the baby due to technical difficulties?'

The CVs should just show what they want instead of trying to whip up public feelings and then conveniently blame it on the viewers for the track they may want to show right from the beginning.

i think CV's should realise there is a big moral issue about the baby vs. no baby thing....😳 maybe that's what they're trying to tackle right now..maybe baby was a spur-of-the moment thing....and then by the time they realised viewers are more interested in maaneet than actual theme of the show..they chickened....😆

well said opti.👍🏼.. but i disagree with one thing and agree for other...

1st....... they get affected by the blackmailing and threats by the audiences.. how??so many times they changed the track after confirmation by TB and starone's official site... because of hue and cry by the fan on FB page..... biggest example was yash's track......... starone, TB and even SBS told that he'll be the third guy in geet's life.(in which DDsaid he'll fall for geet. and geet will leave him). hearing this.. our forum and fans of started i quit campaign.... and then geet on fb had to say, that he'll be a cupid,happy now??? and then that guy had nothing to do on the show.. got an abrupt exit.... so blackmailing does affect them...

2nd, i agree that pregnancy track is not been handled sensitively,,, most of the times geet her self forgets that she's pregnant, 😆.... if we go with the logic then, this show was started with the issue of honor killing and marrying for dowry by fraud , and not about single mothers,,,, so baby was important to help maan-geet milan in dehli,,, which is over now,,, now if they show a track in which dev wants geet back in his life because of his baby,, it makes sense.... but if he continuous to be a saint wot will be purpose of baby then??

shonu..as i said..CV's did not plan this baby thing well..maybe ekta maiyya took over their soul...😆..the serial started to promote a social message..but viewers became more interested in the jodi....and they've forgotten social message..only intellectuals in the forum like you and opti and others are still remembering the basic themes of the show and its tracks...😆

I agree megs. Their original plan was different. Now they are just playing up to the audience. They did not think Maaneet would become such a huge hit. Now they want to cash in on it. And I agree with you that it is not that the baby has to appear any time soon. I see no reason to leap at least for a year. Even after that the baby track can be handled in several ways without really straining the baby much. The CVs are just not courageous enough is all I would say but then I am not the producer of the show. So my opinion hardly matters to the future of this show.
