Quick take for now.

I am going to treat today as a filler episode. I did not like it at all. It is great that GC is back...but that is NO EXCUSE for an episode like today.

Let me break this down:

Starts out promisingly enough with Geet looking for Maan who has been moved to a different ward that the one Meera told her. She spots NT and connects the dots to figure out how NT came by the taveez. So, she is mildly smart and decides to follow NT...but of course looses her.

Yash meeting her right after was a bit too much for me. Jumping from drama straight to comedy was VERY abrupt. The GITG that Geet is, she refuses Yash's flower, cauliflower and job. Writers, why on earth do you have Yash offering Geet the CEO job...W*H was that? I did not get how Yash realizes Geet is looking for MSK...she was not shown mentioning MSK to the receptionist...maybe I missed something in the YT video. Ok...I guess cinematic liberties.

Meera - Dev interaction was about par for the course. AS still cannot act to save his life!!!

Now...coming to my biggest peeve of today...the Geet NT confrontation. She stops NT from entering a room. Why would she not realize that Maan is in THAT room? I did like her facing NT head-on. I loved Maan's trying to use the beeper to get Geet's attention. Welcome back GC...you were sorely missed! However, I am still befuddled by how he can see Geet but she never seems to be able to see him...😆

Now...the second Geet - Yash interaction...this was more fun! I also like Yash realizing the was a LOVE story between Geet & Maan. So all you people worrying about a triangle...take a chill pill!!! 😆

Loved:

Writers showing Geet connecting the dots about NT's actions.

Hated:

How can you show Maan running about so quickly...W*H? He beeps his buzzer twice and nobody turns out to help. Then he removes all his connections to the monitor and just walks away? I cannot suspend my logic to this extent writers.

Yash offering Geet the job of CEO. I do not care how desperate his character is supposed to be...BUT...this was completely OTT.

Why did the bed look empty when the doctor was talking to NT.

doctor asked nt to find geet, hope dadi was their , all her misunderstanding should also be cleared.

dev, ha ha ha how will i face bro. dude just go to police station and ya don't forget to take your wife. i can't tolerate both of u now. MAAN IS BACK NOW I DON'T NEED ANYONE ELSE OTHER THAN MAANEET NOT EVEN YASH.

If not for the precap which is totally dreamyyyyyyy😍, me would have bashed CVs left, right and centre😡

Just one question for the writers: If your baby was unwell, Who would you rather treat him/her- A qualified doctor or friends/relatives?

Its your show- why do you need to give into the incessant demands of all kinds of fans? You are never going to be able to satisfy everyone- so why compromise your creative integrity?

Please watch today's episode and then go watch the confession episode or even the earlier office episodes- Are we watching the same show?

You brought in a character with great pomp and show- do you develop the character? No, instead he just ends up feeling like an irritating pest at the best of times! I mean cauliflower, really? Two episodes down the line you are going to ask me to believe that he is some hotshot business tycoon!

Why did Maan and Geet need to meet today? Just to satisfy fans? and what happens to the story now? The great MSK's fiance goes and works as a nanny for someone else...kyunki jo wada kiya woh nibhana padega?

What hospital is this- a patient rings a bill twice- No doctor/nurse appears? Patient rips off all cables and drips and no monitor alarm goes off? one person is running around in the hospital- where is the security? Someone who was super critical just a couple of hours back can not only walk but also run in corridors ala SRK?

I am sorry but my IQ is slightly higher than my shoe size- therefore as much as i would like to see Maaneet romance- I can't help but get stuck on such massive insults to the viewers intelligence!

Am I in a minority if i demand that the team air episodes that do not assault my mental faculties with their sheer stupidity?

<Disclaimer: No offence meant/intended to anyone who enjoyed the episode- I just cant seem to compartmentalize my viewing experience!>

Yesterday I was watching the old episodes (from Geet's first day at the office) and became quite nostalgic. The episodes were still so fresh and I never got tired of re-watching them over and over again. The character sketches of each and every character, be it Geet, Maan, Dadi and even Dev and NT were so crystal clear and one could relate the characters to the scenes they showed. Dadi, in particular, really stood out in those early episodes - someone who was smart, worldly-wise, witty,enterprising with a streak of stubbornness, which still could not bend the equally if not more stubborn Maan. I hope they redeem her to her former glory (didn't like the way they degraded her character since the engagement that did not happen).

Its not only Dadi. I think all the characters, be it Geet, Maan, NT or Dev are all a shadow of what they were before. Somehow, I'm not as enthused as I was in seeing the show anymore. I can't explain it. I wish the CVs just watch the earlier episodes and see what they are missing in the current track.

I so wish Priya Ramanathan was still the story writer. Don't have much faith in this Vincent Franklin, especially since he was the story writer of DMG.

Don't know how much leeway or creative freedom a screen play writer has. My hopes are now pinned on Swati Pande. Will she redeem the lacklustre and illogical show?

Only time will tell.

Request to the CVs: Please do something about Jay's character, Yash. He is positively annoying at present. While I would like to see a strong Geet who is independent of Maan's constant support, I so don't want her to work for this annoying character, unless he shows a drastic transformation.

ok not much excited about the epi as much as about MSK returning....

apart from the weird and completely meaning less running around of geet , the freakishly funny yash-geet meetings😆....it was an ok epi....
not bad....but not as great as this epi could have been....

almost 2 bloody weeks of msk deprivation finally came to an end... with a great big bang.....👍🏼
the only reason i had of being happy was ofcourse.... MAAN SINGH KHURANA himself.....
i totally adored this new "SuperMaaN"☺️ ☺️......
this guys expressions are priceless....drool-worthy.... 😍 ahhhh...how i have missed him....😳

hopefully tomorrow is going to be better as the real MAANEET reunion is going to be shown then.... 😍
and i just hope the whole yash-geet story can be shown with a bit of substance.....
