@An- They shoot for hrs ...for half an hr epi ...if they were organized they wud atleast shoot 2 epi's a day ..but with other shows i have always seen bank epi's ..they never have a problem..star one i think suffers frm this no bank epi syndrome

@An ... its not the industry thing .. daily soaps all over work like this .... i remember during the writer's strike in America ... daily soaps were the first ones to shut shop while the weeklies continued to air fresh episodes ....

i just hope instead of changing the track ... they stick with re runs or something

Back again...according to the girl who posted the last pictures from the sets of Geet, GC has chicken pox and will be hospitalized for at least 8 - 10 days!

Arwen: The weeklies as far as I remember were truncated. The regular number of season episodes were not shown. If I am not wrong, even actors had joined the strike.

8-10 days .....thats quite a lot and post recovery period as well .....the channel somewhere deserves this ....

@An- Agree atleast a week's epi in hand ......I have seen this in other shows where actors have fallen ill but the track goes on

@RD:In daily soaps u cannot bank for more than 2-3episodes..its the same with all shows today..recently Ratan Rajput who plays Laali's role in agle janam mohe bitiya hee kijo show was down with swine flu..its a zee TV show..they had no banks..so they were shooting wtih her body double and introduced a nonsense track of Laali getting kidnapped..then once she returned for shoots..they took her separate close-up shots...so its not just this show which is facing problem...every show faces similar problem when the actor is down with fever....the reason why banks r not done because channel decides the screenplay based on last week's trps and viewer feedbacks...and a channel like star one which works mostly on online viewership will obviously wait for viewers verdict before deciding the screenplay for next week..so banks r not done....its a sorry situation for all daily soaps today thanks to this channel pressure and trp business😆😆..they did banks for DMG show becuase KSG was out of town..u saw the result of that adultry track na which could not b changed despite viewers opposition😆..because banks were already done😆..so this is the disadvantage of creating banks😆
