Sorry folks...running very late today.... here's my update from Pg 2...
Today's episode belongs to Drashti and GC ! Hats off to you guys ! Such a wide range of emotions between them. Every day I'm surprised to see the new emotional depth these two attain as Maaneet…. Constantly making the 'neev' of their relations stronger.
Episode begins where we left off yesterday…with Maaneet laughter. Geet asks, why r v fighting? Can we just sit n talk, atleast we can try. That triggers off Maan anger. Seething, he says, Try…so easy 4 u to say but difficult for me….I hate every moment that I have pretend in front of you. So Geet asks, then why r u doing this ? For you, maan replies…I know I can convince Dadima, but you need my help…that is what u kept repeating last night….don't leave me, don't leave me. Maan in his pain is lashing out to the very person he loves the most.
His words are like a knife thru Geet. Maan immediately senses he's gone too far, n says immediately, now don't cry …I can't see tears in your eyes. I hate your tears….I hate it when u r in pain…I hate u Geet (2) do u hear me? I hate u Geet (2). He tries to repeat it hoping to convince himself. But inspite of his painful words, she can sense the pain he is in and tries to soothe him by touching his face. But Maan does not give her that chance. He snatches her hand away, sees the ring on her finger and walks away.
At the office, Sasha is her usual bitchy self…moves Geet's desk into Maan's room. She knows something's wrong between Maaneet and is eager to find out what so she can send Geet back to HP. Little does she know. In this new venture, she makes Pinky a scapegoat and asks her to place flowers on Geet's table.
As MSK strides into the office, the staff is nervous checking n reconfirming that they are properly attired. Even Adi is nervous. He walks into his cabin and notices Pinky arranging flowers on Geet's table. Poor girl. As expected, MSK loses his cool on seeing the flowers. Once the terrified Pinky blurts out what she'd been asked to do, MSK without second thought, fires her from the job. Poor Pinky, does not have a chance to say anything in her defense. It is interesting to note that Maan always hurts Geet and the folks she is friends with. How come he never finds fault with Sasha ? So what if she is his munimjee's daughter or the senior architect ? For someone who only cares about sachhai and imaandari, this speaks of double standards.
Deveera scene – Fast Forward
Pinky is crying her eyes out narrating how she was fired for just following orders. Geet feels guilty. Tell me geet, was I at fault, asks Pinky. Geet assures her saying, no it wasn't ur fault but mine. Whatever is going on is because of her, Geet. Adi asks 'tumhare aur tumhare honewale … I mean MSK ke beech kuch hua hai kya she says, Adi sir, are we friends? Adi says ofcourse, then Geet says – can u help me without asking any questions ? Adi n Pinky agree. She assures Pinky that she will get her job back. Just ensure that MSK does not know I'm in the office.
Sasha doing her usual project bak bak…Maan is lost in thought. Geet, Adi n Pinky are walking towards them when they stop just before he sees them. Maan suddenly senses Geet is around. The 3 musketeers (3M) quickly hide nearby, out of Maan's sight. Sensing Geet around, Maan starts walking towards the 3Ms are hiding. Geet sensing Maan may find their hideout, pushes Adi to distract him and Adi does a fab job. Maan returns to him office, desolate, confused, unable to understand his behavior….how can Geet be here ? Why can't I forget her ? Maan is hurting! Geet notices his desolation thru the window. Once again Maan senses her outside his office and in desperation runs out to check. He walks by her empty desk and leans against the wall, defeated by his emotions, little knowing that Geet is right there… their arms barely touching each other,,,,so close but yet so far. Maan is lost in his pain, tearful. I loved the look of determination that comes across Geet's face as she senses his desolation nearby. "I cant bear to see your pain Maan. What can I do if u don't want to hear me out… mujhe oongli tedhi karni hi padegi. You have to listen to me today. Phir aapka faisla chahe job hi ho." Atta girl ! Show him the real strength of a woman !
As Maan closes his eyes, helpless in controlling his emotions, a strong breeze lifts Geet's green dupatta and covers his face. Green signifies mother nature and her power of healing. Maan is in urgent need of some healing. Maan instantly recognizes the dupatta as Geet's and quickly turns around to find her gone. His senses weren't wrong !
Second Deveera scene – what a waste of time … SKIP !
Adi and Pinky in burqa with Pinky nervous. Maan is passing by carrying Geet's dupatta, lost in thought. Adi draws his attention, saying that Sheikh Abdullah, Dubai wale's wife is hear to talk about their need for a new palace in Dubai. Maan is at first doubtful but then extends his hand to the burqa clad Pinky. Pinky nervously shakes his hand. As Maan starts asking her what type of house she is interested in, Adi interrupts that she does not understand Hindi/English. Maan is exasperated as to how they can have a meeting. The Know-it-All Adi says they've made arrangements for an interpreter who is waiting in the conf room upstairs.
Maan walks up to the conf room still holding Geet's dupatta….and does not find anyone there. Just as he is about to say a few choice words abt Adi, the conf room door slams shut. This is the same 'Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein' wala conf room door ! As Maan talks to himself as to how this door got locked (OYEEE, Ann, kudi executed ur suggestion, yaar !) … he hears the words ' nahi khulega' …Maan turns around and sees Geet. She walks towards him and asks for her dupatta. Maan remembers her dupatta covering his face downstairs. But unlike in the past, Maan just throws it on her shoulder. Geet patiently wears her own dupatta. Resolution writ large on her face, she asks, why r u taking out your anger, caused by me on others … why are u punishing Pinky for my mistake. Maan closes his eyes, realizing what he'd done was wrong. But not ready to admit it.
Where's the key to this door, he asks. But Geet can give as good as she gets….Aapke office ka kamra, aapke dil ki tarah hai….jiske taale ki chabi kahaan hai, kise maloom. Maan is taken aback … his expression is like don't u know where my dil ki chabi is girl ? Enough, bekaar ki batein bandh karo. He tries to open the door…stops…Lightbulb moment ! So this is ur plan, u asked Adi to send me here by lying. U r wrong if u think u can hold me here forcefully….kyun MSK ki marzi ke khilaaf usse koi kuch nahi karva sakta. Geet looks at him imploringly and says pls listen to me…afterwards marzi aapki hi chalegi….Marzi toh meri hi chalegi Geet, par tum humare beech me faisla lene ka haq ab kho chuki ho….end of episode. Somehow Maan will find this statement very expensive tomorrow. After Geet has told him the truth, she will remember every hurtful word he's said to her ….and then , it will be Maan begging Geet to stay.
Tomorrow's promo looks promising….hope its not a red herring like always. Finally Geet tells Maan the truth. It will be really interesting to see how Maan reacts…. Let me leave it at that. Expecting an emotionally charged episode…kya Geet ka aur hamaare dil ka bhoj halka ho jayega ? I think it's time ….

- Tylenol….check ….expecting a super headache after watching Maaneet's heartache.

DO NOT WANT DEV/MEERA in tomorrows episode.
Dedicate tomorrows episode to only Maan and Geet…let them have their heart to heart
Don't let Maan rebuke Geet after hearing the truth….if u do that Nissar, I will punch both you and Maan in your faces from half way across the Atlantic
Make Dev pay for every tear Geet shed. Make Maan keep his promise to NT. Let him skin Dev alive, piece by painful piece….yeah. Scumbag Dev deserves that and more
Make Sasha pay for stripping Geet in public … who hisaab bhi chukta karo
All in all, except for the Deveera waste of time, episode was well executed.
Now off to read DB and others.
