Ok analysis updated on pg 2! Putting it up here as well!
Hi all,
Watched the episode & I liked it in parts! Have a small issue which I will go into details later.
Ok CV's again I wanted to see how Maan escapes from Geet's question that was posed to him y'day. Why didn't u all start exactly from there? What excuse did he give her for not answering her then? Geet is pretty persistent now & she wouldn't have let him off the hook so easily, so what did he do? I so wanted u all to start it from there & u broke my 'bharosa' again! Sigh! Anyway!
So Geet is roaming around the office pondering about answering his questions to get his answers in return. Good, good! And I know she is IMPULSIVE to the core, she just does what comes to her mind but walking in middle of conference room to answer his question.......I was taken aback when I first read this! Wondering about her timing but after I watched the scene I have to say u all did a pretty neat job with it. Business mixed with personal confession I would say!
And CV's thank you for changing 'Pyar ka nishaani' to 'Pyar ka Ghar'......sounds much better!
So these r the vows they took in front of each other without wavering a moment or looking away! It was also their definition of Love! According to Geet to be together forever is love, which even Death can't separate! She is referring to a relationship of a lifetime being the best of companions & friends!
Maan in response tells her that any relationship's longevity depends on the base, the stronger the base the stronger the relationship! Here it shows somewhere back of his mind he is more inclined to rely on truth, trust, confidence & integrity! Again maybe these r the factors which may have broken his faith in Love before. I know I hate to admit this but CV's u all r leading it that way, aren't u?? Though I would love to see it otherwise!
Ok here I have to say before I forget why does Sasha always takes liberty with Maan?? He was there & she started to demean Geet in front of him! She needs a big snubbing if u ask me! Though that one gesture of Maan stopped her but still it is irritating to see her over riding Maan most of the time!
Again Geet responds Love is a feeling where one wants to see the smiling face their love first thing in the morning so that whole day passes away smoothly with that imprint on the mind. Starting a day with ur lover & lingering with his memory for the rest of the day! 😍 Have to say 'how romantic' like Tasha! 😃
And Maan again responds, even in night in midst of all the guests & people around, the face of ur love is the only one that shines brightly in ur eyes & that is the face ur eyes focuses on! That is Love! **Oh how dreammmyyyy**
And a beautiful tie up with the Moon scene here with the fb & Geet's small query 'brighter than the moon' to his definition was a superb touch. And I loved that small 'hai na' of Geet here! It was a query come statement!
Ok very smart office people I have to say they managed to decipher the entire love conversation & even incorporated them in their project! 😆 No wonder KC has some of the best of employees! 😃
What I loved was the interaction after the staff left the room! Geet gently probing, 'so u took the project after all' meaning Maan is not alien to the concept of Love after all. If he had taken up the project that means he is aware of the essence & effects of Love!
And he immediately picked up on that telling her that finally she gave the answer to all his questions about Love meaning she led him into this, introduced him into the world of Love! Both r at par!! 😃
And that eye-lock needs a special mention here! To me these definitions & clarifications of Love is more like vows they took with each other, another custom of a wedding! And Anjana credit goes to u for mentioning the English wedding rituals & customs last week in HP under the gazebo. And the CV's used this vow concept today! And after these vows they acknowledged each other's presence in their lives solemnly with all possible integrity, understanding & love through that eye lock! In our Bengali wedding we have a ritual called 'Subho drishti' where after the garland ceremony the husband & wife pledge to look into each other's eyes with love & longing promising such loving looks for the rest of their lives & I exactly got this feeling here in that look! And the way Geet shies away & looks down & he keeps looking at her reflecting all his love & longing was really mesmerising! 👍🏼
Ok now I have a major problem!! By now if the CV's read my take everyday they would know how I harp day in & day out about character consistency! What was that in the cabin where u showed both Maan & Geet staring at each other lovingly oblivious of their surrounding?? Excuse me, we r talking about THE MSK here, the professional, no-nonsense guy & u r making him into a staring romantic fool in front of his staff & clients??!!! Seriously no matter how much I love their eye locks I can't accept that! In private its perfectly fine but MSK can't behave like this in front of clients! He had no clue about the staff & clients present there. I understand u all will say he is in love but still a person's basic nature & character never changes no matter what, they can be modified or played around a little but not to this extent! Show Maan in love but pls keep him in his character instead of this teenage, mushy, puppy love sick kind of a guy! MSK can't be this! Pls don't kill his character CV's, my ardent request to u!
I am not complaining about Geet because I can see her staring lovingly at Maan even when others r around, from her personality she is ok but pls no 'chedchad' with MSK's character & personality!
So Dmellos loved it, it was understandable! And we saw Geet & Maan taking their vows today & I got an idea from this renewal of vows ceremony of the Dmellos. Maybe after the initial hickup in Maan & Geet's relationship after the truth is revealed they might later patch up when the time comes through their own renewal of vows!! Won't that be amazing?? They will have to, to make their base of their relationship strong & permanent! So will look forward to their renewal of vows whenever u will show it CV's.
And here in the episode lies the most beautiful part according to me! When Rose invited Geet to be her bridesmaid all she does is look at Maan & initially his look said its upto u Geet but the moment she asks him he nods his approval for her to accept the invitation! I died there!! I am a big sap of any kind of eye conversation like this, more than verbal conversation I always devour these eye talks!! They don't need to voice their thoughts, need, wish or wants anymore they can read each other's eyes & that is a base for perfect understanding!! LOVED IT!
So Dev is frantic now searching for NT & dreading the confession to Maan! Well what can I say? As u sow so shall u reap!!
Maan coming to her office & putting an official stamp on their relationship implying to her in no uncertain terms that she is his real fiancee, that is her role in his life, not only a secretary or friend!
And then the walk together back to their home as many of u thought indicated the 'pheras'! It was Geet walking ahead all the way & Maan following her. So the vows were complete & they completed another phera! I am sure Doodle will do an awesome analysis on this. 😃
Now the crucial part where Maan specifies the 2 most important bases of Love according to him, Reliability & Trust! He specifies that without these 2 love can't exist for long. One has to be truthful & trustworthy in love & that covers all the aspects & parameters of love. And the truth that he specifies is reflected in Geet's eyes which he can see clearly! Maan sounded so proud of her there for facing all possible situation head on to find justice! At that moment it was as good as a confession, he likes truth & trust in love & he finds that truth in her eyes, so obviously Geet u r his love!
And the lovely romantic way he said not to look away because he can read her eyes & thus know the secrets of her heart which she never voices to him! I swooned hearing that!! Again it shows he has started reading her eyes long back, remember Dargah episode? He reads that 'anjana ehsaas' in her eyes which he fights day in & day out within himself as well, again when she refused to find a girl for him he says her eyes say something & she says something else & I can't be wrong reading her eyes! So the CV's were building up to this moment!! Oh a guy reading the eyes of a girl & knowing the hidden secrets of her heart....................thoroughly romantic!! 😍
And the next moment when he was approaching Geet & maybe had some 'other' intentions but the minute he saw a slight hesitation in her eyes he backed off & left! This is not only reading her mind but also respecting her thoughts & ideas! Very true, eyes r the window to the soul & it reflects one's thoughts even when one keeps mum!! Thank u Nissar for this level of romance!
Oh but these words r so going to haunt u down Maan the whole of next week when u will come to know about Geet's past. Pls, pls, pls remember then that ,she was courageous enough to tell u the truth depending on ur trust to understand her position & supporting her. So u wanted Truth & Trust Maan & u r going to get it facing right at ur face!
CV's I hope u will not ruin Maan's character here when he will come to know the truth, make him human enough to show the struggle going within him facing the bare truth & yet don't ruin him! He can suffer, be angry, be hostile, be hurt, shocked, surprised, bewildered but do not take him down to unthinkable inhuman acts that will ruin him forever in our eyes! Pls keep this in mind!
Geet's determination to tell him the truth was certainly well laid today. If after this she didn't open herself up to Maan then the entire world would have questioned her intentions. She got an affirmation from him that he considers her as part of him, someone of his own, his fiancee, in not so many words he told her she is the one he loved & after all this confirmation she had to confide in him! And I liked the way she put it without any expectations in return, she will tell him & after that its upto him on what he will decide!
Million dollar question here is who will confide in Maan first? Geet or Dev? To me if u ask it will be Geet. She will obviously just tell him she is pregnant but not the entire story & obviously nothing about Dev! And when Maan will be all heartbroken receding to a corner of the world out will come Dev with all the details of how he cheated Geet & left her stranded! Only thing here is maybe it will be Maan who will drop the bomb to Dev informing him Geet is pregnant with his child! About Dev's fate...........well only the Lord Almighty & Maan knows! 😃 I won't be surprised if Dev will end up like the squash ball in hands of Maan! 😆
And now Dev wants a guilt free life so come hell or high water he wants to confess to Maan! By the way does anybody else feel Maan is almost like some priest now, waiting to go to the confession box to hear some major confessions! 😆
Geet practicing her speech & as usual Maan lands up there!! Oh what a bummer! She wants to divulge her truth & here Maan is making big plans for the evening of the occasion thinking she will express her love for him!
Ok the next segment, the dress scene, I don't know I have mixed feelings only because of the fact it is not unique! I have seen that sequence in other shows, almost similar along the line & so didn't find it innovative! Well what to do Nissar, u have raised the bar of our expectations so high that a little here & there & we feel how come Nissar did this!
I am not saying I didn't like it but that it was not imaginative, that's all! What I liked here was the understanding Maan have of Geet's nature & temperament! He knew exactly why she wore the dress & what was holding her back! He assured her of her inner beauty, her strength lying in her being simple & innocent, her beauty lies in her integrity, truth & commitment, she doesn't need artificial stuff or accessories to make herself beautiful! That was all very nicely put Maan! Now only thing is remember all this when u will hear the raw truth from Geet!
And Barry Dhillon I have one problem in Geet's evaluation of her situation! She has lived for her baby struggling so far & has faced so much in her life only to give birth to it! Not only the tortures she faced in the hands of her family but also her decision to even reject Maan for the sake of the unborn child all went down the drains today when she said the word 'khot'! If my hindi is not very wrong doesn't 'khot' means defect?? Why will her child be a defect in her life? Its a blessing & she is willing to carry forward with the blessing, then why is it a defect? It should have been something like a 'liability' or 'responsibility' which she has to take care of & that is what she wanted to convey to Maan!
The precap looks very nice & Geet looks wow there in that saree! And Maan like a M&B hero comes to sweep her off of her feet in his world of romance & his eyes itself says so!! 😃 But poor Geet is all stressed out looking away from him trying to find the courage to tell him about herself! Will see how the CV's turn it out!
Anyway I guess tomorrow or the next week we will have to sit with boxes of tissues witnessing both Geet & Maan's pains!! And once again Nissar & team please DON'T RUIN Maan's character coping with his shock & torment from the sinister truth!
Alright finally its done, better late than never! Had so much of work today! Will go & read all the beautiful analysis of all u beautiful people now! 😃
