@Jyo - If your here, loved your analysis! Even I thought the Demello guy was OTT and unoticible! Reading the article, I had a glimmer of hope thinking this guy must be something big, because it seemed his & Rose's character was quite impactful but after seeing the scene, the couple had no charisma, no attention grabbing quality! How can Maneet get "inspired" by such a couple, when the couple in itself, looks too superficial & too odd! This couple needed to be shown as an intense loved up couple, they needed to be shown to out-do Maneet in terms of their love, be one step ahead in order to be an inspiration, but all we got was OTT behaviour! And you all though Pari was OTT 😳 Maybe the CVs should be careful of how they show the "Inspirations" because atm it looks like Maneet could be the inpiration for them though they havent confessed!

@D - Ring on & off - Symbolic Purpose Hai! Nothing to do wit ur n Jo ka Parineeta theories. Wat's the purpose? Clarity for Geet. Wat is she to him - that is her q na? Fiance ya Secretary?

Its the Q of the Day For Both! Step Back...

Scene 1: Maan is reflecting on Y he gave the ring...feels he was duboing in jasbat... He didn't want to put pressure on Geet. Surmised from her behaviour at the engagement party and even before when "ring" came up infront of Dadi that she was not ready for that step. So here he is questioning himself y he pushed when he shud not have...

Scene 2: First thing Maan does is confirm, she has still got the ring. Why? Answer: He needs to know that she has accepted it and thus symbolically him! Ring hai toh...she is moving in direction he wants her too...nahi toh step bak..

Scene 3: Blunt - u didn't understand my feelings & didn't respect dadi, Geet. He is complaining and at the same time conveying --> Ring came from him too! Subtle but, its there... Her answer before she even asks it, but he backtracks when she puts him on the spot! Y? He not sure where she's going wit it and doesn't want his heart ripped to shreds

Scene 3 - Part 2: She finally gets answer - Ring has meaning for "hum"... Now she knows finally that Ring is from him to her not from Daadi to her. Now she can accept it and won't lose it. It's hers now and not something she is "holding" for someone else.


P.S. She didn't lose sight of the ring - just possession of it - that to my mind is different from truly symbolically losing it. She was keeping eye on its travels 😆

Hmm Good point, but I feel that Geet doesn't understand these things because she is young and looking at her history, she hasnt experienced getting a ring before, & i can bet nor has she seen how women act when getting such things thanks to her family's "open mindedness" cause if she did, then im sure she would've taken more care, but lacking in experience and not seeing anyone else flaunting their ring, might be reason for her little mishap! It was still a pretty OUFT scene since realistically speaking, no woman takes off their engagement ring, the first thing they want is for you to notice and ask them about it so that you can flaunt it, whilst its ON YOUR FINGER! I guess Mr.Nissar or the CVs don't get this concept of normal behaviour of females! 😆
