GEET Endemol 4 Lions Films This is a personal note to the production house, the channel and the whole team of Geet including the Director, the creatives, the actors, and the dev team.

Expectations can kill a product. Over expectations can cripple creativity. And I too am guilty of this crime. (continued in comments below)

When audience (deem it fit to) write the script on a thing that initially made them its fans, then it is needless to say that the thing will go to the dogs cause each one will script their own tale and expect that tale to be fulfilled. Ther...e is no Mount Rushmore to climb.

If I am expecting an Ingmar Bergman film from an Indian television drama, that means something is wrong with my thinking and not wrong with the drama!

I need to apologize to the dev team of Geet for trying to engage in over expectations not realizing the factors that drive the packaging of a product for an Indian audience!

No doubts some of the audience demographic is of a intelligentsia but that those are not the only audience that the Dev team needs to cater to. There is a diverse set of audience with a set of overblown expectations that drive the development of this product and I do understand that it is not easy to satisfy one and all!

I would not like the team of GEET to be overburdened under the weight of fulfilling the over/expectations of the audience. Just stick to the original script as I think and strongly believe that you originally had a better handle on the thin...gs that you wanted to do with this serial and the landscape that you wanted to architect it to, before the cumbersome weight of audience expectations started to pull you in different directions and fuel your creativity.

Please let lose that weight and let that free flow of creativity drive your product. Do not get saddled with audience choices and preferences.

After all at the end of the day, you guys have it in you to give us a worthy product that is the sole reason to bring together such an enmasse following of varied intellect and different demographic.

To conclude, dear team, STICK TO YOUR GUNS!

I reiterate with my closing statement: STICK TO YOUR GUNS and DON'T LET AUDIENCE OVERSHADOW or OVERPOWER your creative plan and vision.

What was the original script? I dont mind that being modified if it is made more logical .I just dont want Maan handing Geet over in a platter or Dev apologising. That we see in all other serials
