I think what makes the story special and probably the characters special is the fact that they WILL (maybe wishful thinking of my part) stick together despite the past and whatever the future may throw at them.
Lots of couples can and do stay together when all is hunky dory...the most exceptional love stories are ones where the lovers stayed together despite all odds...the ending may or maynot always be to our liking....but in all immortal love stories the hero did not ditch the heroine at the first sign of trouble...
and If Maan is going to turn away from Geet because of the baby, then maybe she is better off with out him...
What surprises me the most is that most of the members on this forum are females and yet we are still pushing for taking away Geet's right to chose, her right to live life on her terms (you and i may not necessarily agree- but it is her life)...instead of empowering her through our feedback we are asking that she terminate the child she fought so hard to keep...
What kind of a society would we be if every unwed mother had to abort her child...IMHO the message that the serial should send is that there is place in society for strong, independent women- who instead of shedding copious tears and looking at the men in their lives to support them- meet life head on...
I dont want to Maan to take care of Geet, I want Geet to be able to take care of herself!!!
<that was a long long rant>
