I am so glad to hear this as I really was wishing for Geet's truth to come out before they went to the 6^th vachan. This way the integrity of Geet's character stays intact.

The taveez scene today was just awesome and the fact that she had one end of the taveez close to her heart and the other end touched her tummy. The taveez did the Maan-baby connection too.

Anyway, according to me the primary role of a father – whether biological or not - is to be the protector and provider of the child. Maan has saved the baby's life when he saved Geet. And by giving Geet a job in his office he is in a way providing for it too. At the same time he is watching Geet's back at all times. So symbolically, he is the father already. Only, he does not know about it but when he unravels Geet's past in Hoshiyarpur and comes to know the truth, the completion of the 6^th vachan will be more meaningful.

I agree with what you have said in your analysis about not showing us another sacrificing goddess. Almost all serials have an overdose of those leads who give up their rights and happiness for everyone who comes in their path including the neighbour's dog. Geet has to be different.
