While I understand where Miss Amazing is coming from, I have absolutely no complaints from the show. Geet is one of the few story-oriented shows out there, and at the end of the day, we want to see some masala as well. If I simply wanted to see the story of an Indian girl cheated by her NRI husband and the consequenes she faces, I would've read the newspaper.
But I want to be taken on a journey and escape reality for a couple of minutes π. And this show beautifully showcases the struggles, the tears, the laughter, and everything that comes with having to rebuild your life after it comes falling apart through no fault of your own.
Cheers for the CVs for keeping us entertained and putting a social message out there πβοΈππΌ.
PS- I agree with the "Mahi" comments. It has been played so many times that it is starting to lose its effect and beginning to grate on my nerves π‘. They need to come up with more varieities of the song or find another one. I understand it's Maneet's signature tune, but I cannot listen to another traditional Mahi session. My ears will start burning π.
