Well, firstly these are just my thoughts, so please don't get upset with me. My intention is not to annoy anyone
I think we're digressing from the core characteristics of the lead characters. Both Maan and Geet love each other and both are very well aware of their own feelings towards each other. Maan is aware that he loves Geet and feels that she loves him ( though is not sure) Same for Geet. The Pari factor in my opinion is frivolous
I also think that Geet knows that Maan is meeting Pari only to make her jealous. Otherwise why will a person in the first moment say " apno ka jootha to kha sakte hai na" and the next moment ask her to fix an appointment with Pari for Lunch. Geet is not dumb, she knows that Maan did that to tease her.
To get Geet's feelings out, Maan needs to get into a heart to heart talk with her ( like that short one on the hum tum board room night). By going the Pari, or jealousy route, i don't think Geet would make herself ready for a heart to heart talk Geet is overwhelmed with emotions , those of love (Maan), hatred(Dev), responsibility (child) and most of all uncertainty and anguish. She doesn't know what she will do in short term/long term - she only knows she needs to find Dev and punish him for cheating her , she wants him to repent for his mistake. On top of that she loves Maan and the selfless , wonderful character that Geet is, she does not want Maan to know about her pain,as she knows that he will not be able to bear it.
I think by now Maan should be curious to know what is stopping Geet from admitting her feelings? He knows that she has a past, i would like him to get curious to know why she is not admitting her feelings? Why her eyes shower love while the mouth tries to undo everything the eyes did? And then using his intelligence and his affect on her through all those sensitive moments, he should get her to admit. That will be the true moment of truth for both of them - I really want Maan to handle this intelligently , like an outstanding business tycoon who has outwitted half the world with his thought process, and not like a teenager by introducing a frivoulos competitior - What do you think???
