Hello lovely ladies..
@caco - awesome post. I loved your comments.
@aditi, @tanu, @fazy, @ayeshu, @swati, @priya and all - great takes ladies….
@doodsie - love your analysis and the saath vachan. girl, you really analyze each and every aspect of the scene that sometimes i wonder if the CVs even put in so much effort. love you doodsie.
@jyo - beautifully said. agree with what you wrote. Dev-NT are reaping the rewards of what they did to Geet.
@gouri - nice post gouri. u took over from doodsie today? but i agree with what you wrote. the TRPs and the constant accolades shouldn't go to the CVs heads.
@bri - darling, you are back!! loved your analysis. i agree with the music and the script. and the foundation of love you talked about - perfect!!
and regd the jewelry scene I can only say that it lacked the Nissar touch.
@lana - very neatly written. yes, the CVs should try and keep them in characters. hope they are listening.
@an - in reply to your question that a man like MSK finds it ethical to hire another woman - we do not know who Pari is and how she landed here… but yes to certain extent you are right since Maan is known as a person who hates girls. How can he rely on a girl (his friend or an outsider) to make Geet confess. Somehow this whole track is not consistent with the character of Maan….. but then guess this is what you call cinematic liberties...
My two cents:
1. Pari's character is way OTT. I guess her character can be toned down a bit.
2. A big hug to Nakul for being at the right place at the right time and saying the right things.
3. Dev-NT - Is this what can be called as poetic justice or Karma maybe? As Jyo said, I am loving the parallels of Maan-Geet and Dev-NT. On one hand we have Maan-Geet stabilizing their relationship with trust, understanding and love and on the other we have Dev-NT falling apart with their mistrust, misunderstanding and hatred of each other. Everything that goes around comes back one day and that is what is happening to these two.
4. Love the variations in the background music. Though the vocal Maahii seems to enter in at every available moment, the variations in the music bring about a new feel to the scene and I am liking how the CVs are incorporating various instruments based on the intensity of the scene.
5. Most of us are questioning the need for Maan to go to such an extent to make Geet confess her feelings. The way I look at it is the CVs have a double edged sword with this track. Yes, will all the jealousy going around, we will have Geet confess that she feels something for Maan. But let us look at the other angle here. Maan has always been pushy around Geet. Geet has feelings for Maan, but are they strong enough that she can hand over the responsibility of her unborn baby to him? Are they strong enough that she can think of telling him the truth of her pregnancy? Does she consider him a right person to be the father of her unborn baby? Along with Geet's jealousy we will see Maan's possessiveness. His junoon to make her his, showing at every step that he cares for her, that he loves her, that he is ready to make the big gesture for her. The dinner scene today was the first step there. He is not just ruthless as the businessman, but he cares for her. He ensures that she gets her meal even if he has not eaten anything. That is what I am talking about. Geet realizes that Maan feels for her, but to what extent? She needs to be convinced that Maan would accept her and her baby without any misunderstandings. I guess this Pari track is for that - for Geet to realize the extent of Maan's feelings for her, for Geet to see the soft side of Maan, the obsessive, possessive, determined Maan and the minute she is sure she can hand over herself to him, we will see her confess her feelings.
The best for the last: Today's episode was the first step in the foundation to the Maan-Geet togetherness. Maan for the first time completed his sentence and told Geet that he considers her his apna. We again for the first time saw Maan being possessive about Geet when he said that till he says, nobody leaves him. This got me thinking
- that when Geet's pregnancy truth comes out, we will see Maan taking a stand.
- that Maan was hurt so much by Sameera that he asked her to leave him.
I cried for Geet today. Trying to chose between your love and your responsibility at that tender age is a heart-wrenching thing and Geet is so helpless. And having to deal with a possessive lover like Maan who does not take a 'NO' for an answer is equally hard.
The dinner scene was beautiful. If I had to give one word to it, I would call it - INTIMATE. The understanding, the talking with the eyes, the taking a bite from the plate, the slight caressing of the cheek, the acceptance everything was intimate.
A big round of applause to GC for enacting that scene brilliantly. From the moment he entered till the time he walked out of the outhouse, he was utter brilliance. I love the way he talks with his eyes and he got every nuance of the expressions beautifully. GC you are awesome!! DD was perfect in every scene too. The jealousy, the helplessness, the understanding, the gratitude was perfectly portrayed by her. And Nissar, a round of applause to you too. Today's episode had your mark on it. I really admire the subtlety you bring into each and every scene. Kudos Mr. Director. Welcome back!!
