I don't know whether it is a conscious effort by the CVs or it is a mere coincidence but from what they have shown so far, it seems the match between Maan and Geet is supposed to also have the blessings of the divine. No I am not just talking about the Taveez and its role in bringing together this couple although it started with it. Other religions have also been included to bring these two together.

Lets see what they have showed us so far:

Hinduism: Taveez: The day Geet gets it she is told that she will meet her humsafar and she bumps into Maan right after that. Tha taveez then finds its way to Maan's place.

Sikhism: Both Geet and Maan offer prayers at the Golden Temple during their Amritsar visit. Geet decides to keep her baby and Maan passes by just then as if to indicate his acceptance of that decision

Islam: Both again offer prayers in the Dargah at Nizamuddin. This is the place where Geet realises her love for Maan and Maan sees that love in her eyes. They are also made to realise that God has united them.

Since the Parsi New Year is round the corner (August 19), may be they can include a scene which will involve that religion too. Maybe the new Parineeta can have a parsi friend who distributes some sweets which will be eaten half by Geet and half by Maan (ofcourse both not knowing that the other half was eaten by their beloved). This can signify that they will share each other's lives.

They can also include a scene in the church where Geet, overwhelmed by her emotions of love for Maan and also guilt at not being worthy of him, rushes to the church and asks God to give her the strength to move away from Maan. Maan who sees her running in, follows her there and seeing a tearful Geet, is moved by it and prays for her happiness. When they come out, he can confront her and maybe a grand confession can follow where both confess their love and Geet blurts out that she cannot accept his love because she is pregnant. Afterall love and forgiveness/redemption are two important aspects of Christianity.

That would be so awesome if they really add a Parsi scene to the show. I would be more than happy, considering I am one.

Yeah, I like the idea of divine power. Infact Drashti, has shot an cream ad in a wedding attire. She looks so beautiful with her cheeks being pulled. Doubt maan will pull her cheeks but it would be so awesome.

Should def make this a point to the CV's do add such a scene Opti. 😊

Opti, I think all major realizations and decisions taken in Geet have an element of divinity attached to it. They have made use of the holiness and the purefaith aspect a place of worship offers to drive home a point.

In Amritsar, Geet decides to keep the baby. It is a major turning point for the story. And when she thinks about her future, Maan passes by implicating obviously that he will somehow be part of that future.

At dargah, Geet realizes importance of Maan and Maan sees the same conflict in her which he has been facing for a while now. This time they do get blessed of a future together. The scene has a profound impact on story and yet again channenlizes the character development.

I think that this is a conscious decision by the writers who want to make use of the serenity of a holy place to dictate pure and raw emotions of two individuals.

Agree completely...

Regarding eating the same sweet... I don think Maan would mind eating the same sweet which geet bit into...

She will eating a sweet when she gets a call or dadi calls her, so she leaves the sweet n goes off.. Maan watching all this. After geet leaves, he goes n eats the other half of it, coz it was bitten by nine other than his beloved Geet.... Or instead of a sweet they can show maneet sharing a glass of water or juice...Maan eat a chilli n started coughing, so geet mistakenly took her own glass n made him drink?????

Regarding the church portion, it'll really be an out of the world exp if they show wat u said.. Geets confession n past out in a church.. It can never ger better than this..I really hope they show this....

Oh so you are a Parsi? Maybe you can give us an idea how to integrate your religion in Maaneet's story.

u r right ..,.. cvs have made it look like god wants maaneet to be together forever.... and i fink it was all intentional..cuz after maan's finds out the truth of the pregnancy...geet is again going to the golden temple to pray...abt wat to do next (zats wat i think😉))))))))

anyway i guess z fact zat it's been portrayed zat even god wants them together.... is going to make their confession even more fantastic😳😳😳.........................
