in his realisation bit after the Behne De epi.. he was more.. agrressive n ready to hurt Geet to protect himself from hurt... but Geet was the opposite.. she hvng realised her invariable attraction to Maan...wanted to protect Maan of hurt on knwng her past....n hence chose to Go away

So, here's my reply to Jyo's wonderful take...I figured out what was missing in the rose scene....

Yeah Jyo, I agree with you in totality on the part that the CVs have answered the raised eyebrows. I am glad they supported us.

Lets come to the spoiler. Yes, even I have read Parineeta, I donno how many times. This story just appeals me. Yup, we have guessed on Saturday itself that it's the metaphor, the resemblance to the protagonist in the story Parineeta and not any lady entrant. We very much knew that it was coming. That, I sensed it. Without that revelation in Geet, the meaning Parineeta will not be complete. Even in the literary meaning, Geet is not a Parineeta. Glad that CVs have very clearly mentioned why Geet is not a parineeta till now. And like you, even I also know that we are heading towards Maan making Geet his parineeta. Parineeta is not a married woman in all rituals but married in soul. That union of 2 souls is going to happen when Maan will complete her in his heart.

The part I liked today is that the CVs have portrayed very nicely the anguish in Geet's heart. Let me be very crude here unlike my main analysis that I loved the agony by which Geet had burst out while having a confrontation with the Almighty about losing her virginity. Hats off to the CVs for even thinking of airing that courageous scene in Indian TV.

Now let us talk about the debatable issue here.

I genuinely thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing me a different perspective of the rose scene and without you I would not have figured out the missing link. I have thought over and over and watched again and again but still I feel there is something missing in the scene. May be I am thinking in a more practical way rather than fictional way.

As far as Maan's characteristics are concerned, he has shown certain change in himself…from the Maan we knew at the beginning. But still the basic behavior of Maan is still intact and that can't be changed. How can we change a person's basic nature? Their ability to handle situations, life style, critical reasoning of life, work culture, handling people etc. cannot be changed. Because that is how a person builds himself/herself up over the time. Yeah but I agree that a person's view point to certain issues and circumstances can be changed. Because that is based on the facts and not fabricated. As we can see that Maan has mellowed down to Geet in the course of time, at the same time we also see that his way of handling other people who are associated with him has not changed. Because when it comes to Geet, unknowingly a factor has been added to his emotions. Where as with other people who all are associated with him no extra factor been added. That is why we don't see any reaction change in him regarding other people.

Now when I talk about that there is something missing in the white rose scene, I talk about it being very un-Maan like. There are few reasons why I say that:-

Maan is a very polished person. He has gone through certain struggles in life which had made him more matured. He had to invest a lot of time, thinking and logic to achieve the position he is in now. In the process it has made Maan a very focused and self controlled person. He knows the ruthless world. He had faced it. So in turn that made him more strict and autocratic.

Here I want to relate Maan's activities with the habits of Personal Victory from Stephen Covey's book: -

1. Maan is a proactive in nature:- I will cite here this sentence from Tanu's analysis that - he was more.. aggressive n ready to hurt Geet to protect himself from hurt. That is called being Proactive.

2. Begin with the end in mind:- After the rain sequence Maan knew if this is the case then very soon he will end up in love lock. Though, eventually he is going there but still because of his learning he was able to find a solution to that. I am not talking about the fate factor here. That is a different ball game.

3. Put first things first:- We have seen him how he had set his priorities. When Dadima fell sick he decided to shift the office to the outhouse. Because she is the most important person in his life.

Now let us come to the basic reason why I am still not convinced with how Maan handled the rose scenario.

Let us see the points again:-

1.Age diff:- I beg to differ that a person behaves the same way when they fall in love. We should not forget that Maan and Geet have an age difference of around 7 yrs. Added to this I feel Maan will behave in a more matured way than Geet when it comes to love. Because certainly there is a difference in both of theirs perception.

2.Life experiences:- Here I know that Geet and Maan, both have faced their lives in a more challenging way at an early age. But the basic struggles in both of their lives are different which had resulted them to be a completely opposite person. Their basic struggle ground points are different and that is why transformation of Maan and Geet's personality are different along with their thought process.

3.Passion and authority:- I disagree with you here Jyo. I think that Maan very well behaved as a natural human being in the Ink – dupatta scene as well as the JA Seq. So, there was no need for Nissar to show Maan as behaving like a love sick human in the rose scene.

4.He thought he should correct himself:- Yeah, this was very Maan like. And I am proud of Maan today. He definitely learns from his mistakes and has the ability to accept when he is at fault. Otherwise he would never be in a position he is in today.

5.He wanted to make Geet happy:- Definitely, he wanted that. I liked how the rose scene started. Its Perfect. But the way it was handled after the office people came was not at all matured.

That definitely raises the question on how all those years Maan had handled the mayhem situations. Here many may say that he is in love…so definitely that heart beats do have some factors in acting around. But I would say Love never let you forget your learning. Love may make you forget everything but not the way you actually behave...your own self I doubt...

I hope I have made my points why I felt that the rose scene was not executed perfectly.

@Doodle: Great post! 👏...I have to agree with you on the NT-Dev scene..That was kinda silly..i mean before NT even left the room for the bathroom..her handphone started buzzing..and if she really had wanted to not let Dev get near to the phone.she would have come running out to get it back..or, like what you said, she should have just not kept it in the cupboard in the first place....😕....They just wanted to make Dev know abt NT's plans..😆...but what a bad way to show it..there could have been better ways to show it...like Dev snatching the phone from her....or smth else..😆

here This is My take..

I Must Applause the CV and writes.of Geet. They have been throwing at our feet some brilliant Epis for last cpl of days... Geet's acceptance of Maan making a spl place in her heart and then from there on she struggling in her dilemma of the reality struck in her life and her feeling for Maan & how inspite of all she wld not want to hurt him even a tit bit of it... Well Potrayed Job By Drishti and the Team

My only concerns here was Knowing Maan being the ruthless multi layered guy he is and His acceptance towards Geet after Fri Epi the whole flower thing came to quick for me. Its not the MSK for me.. Yes Though he has passed that stage yet for him to come across to express his feeling was to quick for me... But Yet am Glad that the CV understood this. I wld rather want him to start mellowing down towards Geet and build that bridge of friendship first.. So the rose not reaching her was a good thing.. So CV Thank you for keeping that part of Maan intact..& with their respective.. The more she goes away from him the more He will open up and more stronger the bond and once Past will come in their bond will be a atoot.

Awesome Analysis by the rest of you.. and Awesome Job once again by the Geet team and I look fwd for upcoming Epis

I loved today's episode......the first part was sad followed by some light hearted moments but meaningful at the same time.

Geet's breakdown was heartwrenching......😭😭......my heart goes out to her.....🤗.....After the dargah episode everyone was expecting her to walk away from Maan but i guess that was not the right moment since then she had not fully realized her feelings for him but now after complete realization she has indeed decided to stay away for him........and that too for his own good.....because she doesn't want him to get hurt by her past.......thats the ultimate sign of love.....putting his happiness before hers.....👏

The entire rose sequence was really cute but what i loved most about it was the intention behind the scene. It was Maan's endeavour to bring some happiness in Geet's life........he who hates roses actually wanted to give one to Geet because that would make her happy.......here we see Maan putting her happiness before his........👏

Both Maan & Geet are thinking beyond their own likes & desires.......this makes me believe that their love will stand the test of time.....👍🏼......I'm now sure Maan will stand by Geet once the truth is revealed......I just don't want Geet sacrificing her love for too long though.

Maan looked hurt on finding out that Geet was looking for another job.......now what will his reaction be......will he blast Geet for going behind his back OR will he confront Geet & tell her how hurt he is consequently leading to some kind of a confession.......i'm betting (or wishing) on the latter....😛😛😃

All in all a lovely episode....👍🏼

Lastly......Speedy recovery to Guru..Get well soon......🤗

@Doodle:I m still busy with my damn presentation😡..so wait a bit more for my detailed analysis..I will update my post on PG1 once I m done😳...I guess that rose scene was needed to b silly here just to show the way Maan is goofing up in love exactly the same way Geet was doing few episodes back...in short CVs wanted to show that when u r falling in love for the first time..whether u r MSK or anyone..u do commit such blunders...MSK was never been in love before..its the first time he is approaching a girl with a rose ...I m not ready to believe he had gone through such phase in Sameera's case..like I said when u r infatuated towards someone..u don't think twice before going on a date with the person..but when its real love,thats when u start questioning yourself 1000 times and in this process u end up commiting silly blunders and thats what CVs tried to show here in that rose fiasco😳

@Caco:Even I loved the opening scene...this is what we all wanted to see..I knew it was coming..I said it...Geet's full realisation will make us feel/cry for her..remember😉...they had planned this self-talk of Geet during dargah episode itself..but then they thought of JA-Sequence and so decided to show her self-talk after the JA-Scene😳...your take is wonderful and hilarious as well😆👏👏..don't worry I m writing my long take right now😆😳

@Nimz:Brilliant take..I agree the rose scene could hv been executed better...but like I told Doodle ..there is a specific reason they made the scene look silly..because Maan have never given a rose to a girl out of love..mayb in Sameera's case it was more like attraction,so he never felt that nervousness before..in Geet's case he is feeling the tension inside ..he just doesn't know how to approach her with a rose..the same rose which he himself once asked her to throw in the dustbin...what will he tell her now..so many questions were there in his mind..no wonder he thought of that stupid file idea😆..it was done deliberately by the CVs to show the change in this guy and make him look more like a human who can commit blunders😳
