Hi guys.....ummm lol it's the first time i'm writing here...so hope the review works out!

Film: Fear earlier titled as ROOH
Year of Release: 2007
Genre: Horror/Suspense Thriller
Producer: Ramesh Sippy; UTV Motion Pictures
Director: Vikram Bhatt

The Synopsis:

Fear starts with alomst the same way Bhatt's earlier horro flick Raaz did. A guy named Dev Malhotra finds a girl drowning in a lake at the middle of the night and asking for help. Dev helps her and brings her to a hospital where it is learned that the girl he rescued from the water has lost her memory in the accident and has no idea of who she is, where she is from, who her relatives are etc. As she slowly starts to gain her sense back, a spirit follows her everywhere in the hospital. Dev and his doctor friend decides to get her out of the hospital and Dev takes her to his house to stay. Since the girl doesn't know what her name is, Dev and his maid Shantabai decides to call her Anamika.

When Anamika thought everything was over, she was wrong. The spirit followed her to Dev's home and starts haunting her there as well. Shantabai takes Anamika to Kesar Ma for help. Kesar Ma tells Anamika that the spirit is a very evil spirit..a bhatakti aatma that's following Anamika either for revenge...or for some other reason. As Anamika starts to seek for information about this spirit, her and Dev starts to fall in love. A baba helps Anamkia capture the spirit but that too is ruined when a drunk guy finds the spirit's location after a long time and releases the spirit.

Dev decides to go to his parents and ask their permission to marry Anamika. During the time Dev leaves, a guy named Rajat Saxena comes to Anamika and tells her that he is her husband and her name is Sanjana. Rajat takes Sanjana home where the spirit once again follows Sajana and haunts her, shows her signs and wants to tell her something.

The plot and story line from this point turns into another whole Raaz storyline. The climax too has similar scenes and story that can be easily compared to Bhatt's earlier horror flick Raaz,

The new comer actors acting were average. Only the main heroine of the film, Sanjana had to do most of the acting since she's the protagonist of the film. They could've just casted a t.v. serial actor for the Rajat Saxena role. He has a great body but the body doesn't suit him with his facial looks.

Music too isn't that great either. So much for Vikram Bhatt quoting "If the music of Raaz haunted you for years, Fear will haunt you for centuries" yea...watever!

Overall Rating for Fear: 7/10 stars

You can check this flick out at a theater or download the film from the Rajshri Film website. They have four kind of options for you...The Premium Quality version is $19.99 you have the option to download with or without subtitles. The Standard Quality version of the film costs $9.99 with again both options for downloading with or without subtitles.

Hope you all liked the review!😊
