Recently there have been a lot of comments on a woman's back being exposed to a stranger and how it is equal to being half naked or cheap.. But when a woman willfully wears a backless dress in a party she is either way exposing her back to plenty of strangers is that also considered cheap?? In other words what I wanna know is whether backless clothes cheap or not??

Umm, no.

What people are saying is that they put an amnesiac woman is such a situation for wrong purposes. Purposely putting her in an outfit which reveals her full back to this man she is deceived into thinking is her husband and in what she clearly considers an intimate moment--in order to further romanticize and 'ship bait' a couple and a situation which is very violative.

That is what is being called cheap! The whole situation and how it was presented.

By the way I have no issue with her outfit. I don't even think it's a bad or trashy outfit. I have never said anything about it. And I would've had the same complaints even it was a full blouse.

Oh, and another by the way. A situation which the fans were all but too glad to defend and enjoy, till those criticizers kept on making logical points which were still not acknowledged. At least those up in charge saw and acknowledged the logic in the criticisms.

As for her own choice! Yes, it is her own choice to wear such an outfit. Yes, she willfully wears it and has every right to.But it is not her own choice that she is participating in the whole event and situation. It is not her own choice that she is allowing intimate moments with this man. It is all based on the fact that she is lied to and deceived that he is her husband. So yes, the outfit is her choice. But nothing else of the whole situation is within her own choice and power.

See a women can wear a black less blouse, strap dress, mini dress or even a bikini. It's her freedom & choice. What many people mentioned about last sbs or sbb was a women who was having amnesia is put in a situvation where she belives a stranger is her husband & she is trying to get close to him. By making him putting the blouse hook the lady is thinking her shy husband will cone out from shyness. All are pointing at cvs. That sequence was forced one. They are forcefully putting shajan in a situvation like that shad gets attracted towards jannat. That was not needed. A simple dress too have hooks & Doris. They could have made her wore that dress & ask him to put the dori. Like Asya & sahil had. Exposing cloth was not needed. When jannat came down for reception she was well covered in that same costume with dupatta. So that sequence was a kind of forced one. That was not needed. If jannat came out like that only downstairs then the entire thing would have be different.it will be like her freedom of dressing. I have a friend who wear backless blouse & cholis. That's her wish. Her freedom. But many amount my batch mates have the opinion that she wears that to attract men. Unfortunately our society do have that mu.

Hmm.. Don't know about attracting men but my sister also wears such clothes during parties because she finds them comfortable and it makes her feel good about herself

My friend too wears in parties & she too is comfortable in it. I am not one among an Indian who judge a women by her cloths. That's the main reason I loved qh1 & zoya. But it's true many people including women have that misconception that a girl wear modern cloths or backless to attract men.

The only difference here is that - when a girl goes out in a backless dress or a mini skirt she KNOWS THE SITUATION and where she is going. And that doesn't mean she is allowimg others to take advantage of her.
Here. She does NOT KNOW THE SITUATION. And she is allowing her SITUATIONAL HUSBAND to tie her dori back.

Please try to understand the situation here. No one is saying girls are not allowed to do this and that. They are allowed ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING provided they know the situation and are fully aware of it without being deceived.

Agree or not but the dress was a part of that situation which was also a point of discussion in quite a lot of posts being made by the users. However this topic is just made to know about Forum's opinion regarding backless clothes.

Prags, 😆 Why plead?

Just give your stance and clarification. There's no point in pleading.

It is going to be like this only! Misrepresentation!

Now the defense for the most indefensible scene is that it wasn't aired and was cut.😆 And we all know why it was cut or rather because of whom it was cut (which is us, the criticizers who supposedly called backless dresses cheap). Otherwise, it would've been still good and jolly and romantic with all the previous defenses.

I am not pleading KK! I am just being polite. 😆There is a difference you know.
You can take and make people understand your stance by being polite in a much better way I guess. TThats what I think.
