Yes! This was 'Benarasi' saree which preet wear..this kind of saree specially wear bengali bride in marriage day. 😊

It seems what she is dressed up usually like is what she is meant to wear at home..n when she steps out(n note that she was coming out of the haveli after 14 yrs) she may b actually dressing up like common ppl..but her choice of Sari was not common for the funeral.. but that's the catch! when everyone's dressed up in white she had to stand out.. for the Witch she is😡 It does make the scene n her character all the more interesting though.
Besides she needs Vivaan for her intentions..so she had to attend the funeral..
